I tremendously enjoyed the authentic Levantine food served at this restaurant, which sports a hospitable desert tent ambience. I half expected Valentino or Lawrence of Arabia to turn up at any moment! We had the Jordanian national dish of Mansaf -- lamb leg in a spicy, goat's milk yoghurt sauce. The lamb was incredibly tender and flavorful and the sauce salty just like it is in the Middle East -- salt is used to preserve the dried goat's milk yoghurt called ""jameed"". Portions were huge and came with pine-nut pilaf, complimentary salad or lentil soup plus all the pita you couls eat. Lamb came on the bone for enhanced flavor and delicious marrow. Owners and staff were very welcoming, friendly and highly visible. This place was a great all-round experience!

This guy markets his restaurant as middle-eastern and he doesn't even serve a real shawarma. Their version of a shawarma is really grilled chicken or grilled lamb wraps. And the falafel is made in cupcake tins, most likely boxed. I would stay away from this place if you want authentic middle eastern food, especially if you are expecting something similar to the Kan Zaman in the City. There is no affiliation, by the way.
