Great Management

I have lived here for 5 years and love every minute of it. I just wish tenants would follow the no-smoking rule.

Please ignore phillygurl and h...

Please ignore phillygurl and her bad comments, I can't believe she had THAT bad of an experience. I have lived at Willow Shores for almot a year, but will be shortly moving out ONLY because I just started another job and I want to move closer to it. About ten minutes after I faxed my non renewal the manager called me to ask if there was any problems she could fix to convince me to stay, very nice. I have almost all positive things to say. I live in an updated two bedroom apartment, and yes it is a little pricey, but everything is brand new.. it looks like a kitchen out of an IKEA display. The initial deposit for an apt is only $500. Any other places I've lived in you need to pay a month and a half deposit. The one time I had to call maintenance it was a Sunday (I woke the kid up lol) I felt really bad & it turned out it was our upstairs neighbor who had the water leak, but he came with in a half hour on a SUNDAY! I was so thankful. You are allowed to have dogs, which is great, but the only bad thing is that the inital costs are so expensive. Parking is directly in front of the building and if you come home really late (like midnight) you may have to park in the back lot, which has only happened two or three nights and it literally is directly behind my building which means walking an extra 10 seconds. The office staff is so nice. No complaints there, they even send you a card on your birthday. lol. The pool is nice, there's always a lifeguard on duty, and even on Saturdays there's only a handful of people in there so you can always find a lounge chair. There is the occasional bug, but the apartment complex sends out a list of common 'spring/summer' bugs so you are prepared and it's not bad at all... I've seen only a few. I mean you are right next to the river/and there;s lots of trees/landscape around so it's to be expected. It's very close to shopping centers/malls/highways. AND there's a washer/dryer in the apartment, who deosn't love that. Overall, a 9 out of 10 from me.

Management needs a new attitude...

Management has no sense of urgency...let's say...its raining and your ceiling is leaking...they will get to it. The property manager Teresa is new and she replaced Sherry, both are ladies that needs communication skills. As a result of the recession Korman Suites must have cut back on training, because these ladies are not helpful and rude. The office staff are truly clueless and don't know much...or anything...Crazy! Teresa acts as if she is there to keep the seat warm and not help others out. Heather is new as well as she is clue-less as well.

Maintain is wonderful...

If you move here just don't ask 2nd or 3rd level questions, because they management staff is not prepared. The place is ok, it just if Korman Suites can overlook such rude behavior it makes me wonder what is the upper echelon management like?

Has Everything I Need

Willow Shores is a great place to live. It's convenient to everything in NJ & Philly, but it's also nice and quiet. Since it's not a huge complex, the office staff treats the residents like family and they take the time to get to know us. It makes a big difference when you're treated like a human being and not just a ""tenant"". I've been here for 3 years and I have no plans to leave. The only reason why I'd even think about buying a place is because of my dog, but they allow dogs here. Overall I'm very pleased with my apartment, the staff, the condition of the grounds, and the maintenance guys (who are really friendly and always respond quickly). I'm very happy here.

Great Experience!

Willow Shores has worked out perfectly for me. I work in center city Philadelphia, so it is very convenient - right over the Tacconi Palmyra bridge. My apartment is really nice and has HUGE closets (which is good, b/c I have a lot of stuff!). I have my own washer & dryer in my apt., which is also really convenient. There is a gym & pool on site, so I don't have to pay for a gym membership. That saves me a ton of money right there. The office staff are always friendly & helpful too. I think my rent is really reasonable considering what I get for my money and the fact that it's so close to center city. Really, I have nothing but great things to say about Willow Shores. I'll be here for a while! :0)
