This place features a large dance floor to work-out. The owners seem amicable and energetic. Staff and instructors seem friendly and eager to help. However; the classes check-in procedures need to be revised. Members should not be allowed to save spots or check-in for others. Some members are "catty", but it is to be expected in a room full of estrogen!
You see their billboards all over the Antelope Valley, so since my membership ended at 24 hour fitness and they are closer, I figured i'd give them a try. The billboards say $30/month, no contract. Ok. sounds good. Then I try to join online and it requires 2 months payment at a time. I call and a chick answers the phone, I explain to her the online situation and she says if you come in, then you can pay for just the one month for $30. So, I drive there dressed in my workout apparel, excited about the zumba class that i'll take after signing up. A young man greets me and then says that its $49 if I want to pay for one month. I said thats not what I was told over the phone and point out the lady that I spoke with. She then says "oh...yea, its $49 if you pay for just one month" You could have told me that over the phone and saved me some gas. If I had the $49 for one month, then I would just add the $11 to it and pay the $60 for two months. Bad business.... The yearly membership there is $299. Save yourself some money, go to costco and buy the 24 hour fitness 2-year membership package for $299. Thats what I intend to do!
