Short staffed and with the worst nutritious, poorest quality or good tasting food I've ever tasted, this facility has a long way to go before I'd give it any more stars. A few stand out CNA's and nurses and an amazing PT and OT team are the only reasons to go there if you need good rehab after a surgery. One very loud and inefficient evening nurse made it a tough stay and even made my 1st roommate write her a personal good review on discharge papers before she was discharged-in fact, she insisted it be written while she supervised. The food lacked flavor, was overcooked continuously or was over salted and I asked a friend to bring bottles of Ensure to me in order to get the protein & nutrients my healing body required.None of my fellow patients liked the food and a nice nurse brought fresh fruit to me often, especially bananas. Many nights, CNA's called in sick for the evening shifts (in fact more than a few times it would be 2 CNA's each time) which made getting a call light answered take up to 2 hours most nights. A few really cared, others were apathetic and preferred talking & laughing in the halls making it a very, VERY noisy facility in the evenings. One night an always loud and angry receptionist argued and yelled at a patient in the reception area for over an hour. She must hate her job and should quit or her boss needs to sneak in for an evening and just listen to the noise & yelling and fire her. There is no reason to yell at a dementia patient, it's not professional, nor is shouting to each other in the halls while ignoring call lights.Activities were fine and there are 'inside' patios accesible to go outside for fresh air, which saved my sanity with all the noise and apathetic staff indoors. After 17 days I was ready to leave and felt bad for those I'd met who were still needing to stay. This is NOT a place to become a resident if you don't need skilled nursing care. The house doctors do not make it a point to see each patient except on arrival and exit and I could not get something for a chronic stuffy nose that I developed after 4 days and couldn't shake until I left. I couldn't breathe but got no visit from the doctor and no decongestant and only cough syrup for a non existant cough. I gave up. 2 people in the evening in 2 weeks 'escaped' the premises and had to be hunted for and I didn't think enough doors are locked or there was enough staff to pay attention. The place IS clean however if not a bit old and as stated above I did meet CNA's and nurses who were caring, efficient and took their jobs seriously-THOSE are the people that eased my mind daily and that I knew I'd be in good hands with while they were on duty.

This is not a good facility for someone with Alzheimers or Dementia. My husband was put in this place to recover from pneumonia and UTI. I had to stay 12 hours a days to keep him safe. I had to be there to feed him and change him when he had accidents. The CNAs and Nurses were very nice and seemed caring but they are spread so thin that they can't be there for you. Yes, they have bed alarms but they go off all day and no one goes to check on the patient. If you are of sound mind and can care for yourself, this place is ok. I feared for my husband's life when I left. He pulled his IV's out two times and bled all over the floor which took two days to clean up. Yes, a weekend but no excuse. My husband's roommate was terrific in helping as much as he could to keep my husband safe when I wasn't there. I complained a lot and there isn't much you can. The Dr. there won't spend any time with you and when I told him a medicine was making my husband ill, it took 12 hours to get something to make him feel better.
This facility has rude CNAs, I had the Receptionist help out. She really went above and beyond for mother I believe her name was Misty. Overall it's an okay place, people are helpful if you can reach them and it's a clean facility as well.
