I called about getting a set of tires for my '95 town car. The owner said he had some in stock, so I went there. The mechanic working on the car said that the tires the owner said would work, were too small. He also stated that the owner lies about things like that, figuring the customer will either never realize it, or just don't care. A month later I went to view a car that was for sale. The owner of the shop was the one who owned the car. I asked him what was wrong with it and he said "I don't know, it hasn't been run in about a year" How can you own a mechanics shop and not know what's wrong with your car? How this company is still in business its beyond me.

I've had a lot of automobile body repair done over the years at a few different body shops in the Melbourne/Palm Bay area and the one body shop that stands out above all the rest is America's Best Certified Auto Body. If you want your car to look like it drove off the showroom floor then this is the body shop you should choose. My 1st visit was after my wife backed into a wheelbarrow with her 2008 Miata. They removed and repainted the bumper and reinstalled it. It looked better than new. The 2nd visit was my wife's 2014 Civic. It needed a new fender and driver's door. This was an extensive repair and took 3 weeks but the car looked like new when we got it back. The 3rd visit was my 2015 Civic. I got too close to a flooded storm drain and damaged the bottom of the right front fender and about 2 feet of rocker panel. This only took a week and was showroom perfect when I got it back. The 4th and most recent was my 2015 Civic, again, when the guy behind me couldn't stop in time. I needed a new bumper plus all the bumper hardware and some trunk lid repair below the license plate. Took it in on Monday and picked it up on Friday, good as new. Photos of bumper repair attached. Bottom line: When you know the car has been repaired but can't find any evidence that it's been repaired, you know you've taken it to the right body shop.
There's a list of problems with this shop but I'll state the most important ones. I took my car only to get diagnosed. Which They clarified 3 times was only going to cost me $30!1st: I was guaranteed my car would be looked at by the end of the day on Saturday 3/25/17 so I had my car towed to them in the morning. Called 30 mins before the shop closed and was told they didn't have the time to just diagnose it all day. Now I have to wait til the following business day (Monday) for three car to be diagnosed. 2.Wait til Monday and I call around 2pm they tell me the part that I just recently fixed was incorrect, then was told part that I fixed was faulty then was given some other info. I ask how much for the diagnostic and was told $141 because they did the labor with out my permission. I told them I only wanted the diagnostic and was in shock they repaired my car with out my consent. Especially since the repair was a repair I could do my self. So I rush over after work to discuss the problem. 3. I arrive and then told by the receptionist that the car was not fixed that it was only diagnostic. Complete different story from what I was told by phone. Come to find out she changes the story again to say that since I refused to pay labor they took the new part out and put the old one back in then rolled my car to the side for me to tow away. WOW! Any logical thinker would have left the part and charged me only for the part and no labor. I would have done that. But apparently they decided that the best decision was to make the mechanic do twice the labor for no pay when obviously he could have been making money on the next vehicle waiting. 4. Most owners would admit there mistakes and not point fingers. This guy was VERY quick to throw all his employees under the bus as to the mistakes that they made. 5. Now I am told I only have to pay for diagnostic test. Ask for the total and I'm told $54. When I ask why I was told three times that it was $30 I am told this is a different type of diagnostic test and cost more (Lie) I tell her she needs to honor the original quote and give me my 10% AAA discount. She gives me a so-called coupon discount lowering the price to $35 and refuses to give me the 10%. 6. Both the owner and receptionist had snarky attitude. Very disappointing and extremely unprofessional. A lot of the issues could have EASILY been handled a different way or resolved more professional. Instead I was forced to have to pay money I did not want to spend with them because my car was unable to start and couldn't afford another tow. If they can't make rashional business decisions and keep their staff in line then I don't know how much more I could ever trust them with my car that Is supposed to be safe and reliable. We got into an accident, it was a collision with another car. The front bumper got dented. We bought it in this auto shop to fix it. The mechanic did the job and left the bumper with missing the screws on left and right of front bumper.They pushed it in to display the perfect image of the bumper, however, when we drive on the highway with the wind and car speed of 60 mph or higher, the front bumper get to shift out of its place, resulting of a small hanging with gap.
Took 5 days longer from due date to be ready, had to rent a car another week. Found 3 defects on door when we went to pick it up said progressive had to look at it, still waiting since 8/24. Poor service, should have seen the defects, and really bad service from Progressive. Check your car before paying!
He rebuilt the heads on my engine, the cars been running great, I will call him again if anyhting else is needed!
