Fool me once, as the saying goes. Avoid this car wash. I stopped in for the 1st time and bought $28 car wash. The place was empty, only one other customer beside myself. After the wash, the outside was ok, I stood at the car door, looked in, the interior was basically the same as it was before the wash. The guy only spent about 3 minutes on the interior, he had not wiped down much of anything. The carpet was not vacuumed well, the door interiors and console were still dirty. The car is less than 1 year old, so there was really not much to clean to begin with, just a simple interior wipe down. No attention to detail. I typically don't complain when a company provides poor service, they just loose my business. But this time, I went back in and mentioned this to the girl at the desk. As I was leaving, I turned back and saw a smile on her face... Wow... really. I wasn't even asking for better service or a refund... I was giving them the curtsey of letting them know they are loosing my business ... and I get a smirk...

Very well washed inside and out I very happy with service! ! All I can say try it you will go here again.
I highly recommend this car service facility. In September 2012, I was driving through Chicago to visit my parents, when my tire went flat on my van. I pulled off of 90 and this was the first place I saw; so I pulled into their business. The gentlemen there immediately got my car in and repaired my flat tire- it had a nail stuck in it and needed patched- it only cost $15.99. The lady at the desk even helped me carry my 3 month old back out to the van as I had my hands full with my 20 month old & all the baby gear. I was impressed at the speed of service and how kind everyone was. And 4 months later my tire is still holding up- no flats or anything. :-
I had the complete detail service on my car. They scratched the plastic window on the dashboard. The manager tried to fix it but could not. They took my complaint and said that the owner would get back to me. He did not. After many attempts to get the owner to call back, I found the owner's phone number and called him directly. He denied responsibility saying it was impossible for them to scratch the window. He said it was probable that I did not notice that the scratch was already there. What a load of BS! Be aware of this business. There have been other complaints. It is never their fault. They don't make mistakes. AVOID unless you don't care about your car.
Lake CROOK Auto Wash is rude, condescending, and argumentative. My husband bought me a gift card to Lake Cook Auto Wash for my birthday. I was so excited use the gift, and I made an appointment right away for the $156.00 detail.I dropped my car off the night before my appointment, and the next morning, Vick called to tell me that this detail package was a waste of my money, that his guys would not do quality work, and that he was sure that the carpets would not be cleaned properly. However, if I was willing to spend an extra one hundred dollars (with the promise to tip his guys very well), he might consider actually washing the car. After arguing, begging, and pleading with Vick on the phone for 20 minutes to complete the $156 detail, I had had enough. It was then that I decided that I would cancel my appointment, and I went to pick up my car. When I arrived to pick up my car, Vick demanded that I pay him for services that were NOT rendered. At that point, I asked him to just complete the detail - I apparently already owed him a decent amount of money - so why not? When I picked up my car, the outside hadn't even been washed, but at that point, I was sick of arguing. The best part - the man at the counter rolled his eyes when I told him that I wasn't planning on tipping.Vick is liar, a scammer, and a con-artist.DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH LAKE CROOK AUTO WASH.
