Overall

If I could put a negative 0 for a review I would. I discovered quickly how awful their customer service was. For months I had a problem with my bill and I won't name any names but the office dept is not very competent to say the least. They were rude, unfriendly, and could care less to keep our business or on resolving our problem. Like the old saying says "You get what you pay for." I suggest shopping around for another garbage provider.

We cancelled their service due to moving and miscommunication in pickup at our new address. I had tried to communicate with them on 3 different occasions that we are at a new address and after picking up our garbage for 3 weeks straight, they simply stopped and had our address wrong (not sure how that happens?), when I called to rectify things, the secretary was rude, so I cancelled service and asked for a refund. They said they would mail it (I had just paid for 3 months worth of service, prior to having issues). Well after 3 months and numerous phone calls later (2 being to the owner), we still have no refund. HORRIBLE SERVICE and I will spread the word to as many people as possible.

Overall

Major Waste is a family owned and operated company that is by "FAR" the best around in their line of work! I am an avid believer to support local small businesses and Major seems to make it that much easier for me. I have done my homework and let me tell you this, you WILL NOT find anyone with more competitive prices then them. They go above and beyond to assist their customers regardless if they are residential or commercial customers. As far as the review below don't believe it, sounds to me like this was an irate customer that left a negative review in the heat of the moment, sad thing is they are probably with a new service provider paying double the costs for worse service, lol, so kudos to them. If you want a reliable company that works with its customers then I highly recommend Major Waste!

Terrible service and over charges

Terrible customer service! Their website claims that they take the extra time to close lids and put can back on the curb but they somehow broke my can leaving a large hole in the back. I called to ask them to replace it and was then charged for the replacement. When I called back I explained that it was broken by their workers and I do not plan on paying every time they ruin my can! The secretary was so rude to me! She then told me I should have been paying more every month and that my bill was too low and that it was my responsibility to call them and tell them my bill was too low! I get a bill a bill in the mail and pay whatever it is on time every month. It is their responsibility to bill me correctly and I have no idea if my bill is a couple dollars off! After I cancelled service with them they refused to call me back after three weeks and I still have the large can sitting in my front yard! Terrible treatment of customers and fraudulent billing!
