Ill try to keep it short: we received conflicting information from the beginning between management and staff regarding scheduling and facilities policies. Our child was in their care for 6 hours without a diaper change and had a blisters around his groin from the diaper rash.We have dropped off diapers and wet wipes with our child only to have MANY less returned than what we arrived with (10 diapers gone in a 5 hour period). This has happened numerous times. One staff member did not acknowledge the severity of my sons peanut allergy when I stressed it is a potential lethal problem. My child became ill with a very contagious condition from this daycare (it happens I understand that) but I was told it was ok to bring him back the next day. The Staff seems ill equipped, undereducated, and a in some cases a bit too young to handle the oversight of children.I had heard from friends and coworkers that PELA had not met their expectations either, but being the only daycare in in Pahrump, there are not any alternatives.
