Paul H. who wrote a review telling how he has been coming here for 40 yrs since he was a little boy....well I started working here 39 yrs ago as a server. I'd just graduated high school summer of '77, then worked weekends as a Freshman & Sophomore at MSU, so undoubtedly I waited on that little boy & his family! What a small world; I hope he who wrote that review reads this! We had very few pizza restaurants back then so there was always a line out the door. The pizza then was as good as now. The young people on dates came here in droves, & stayed late to closing. Families packed in earlier & after Church on Sundays. I ordered a double black olive pizza on breaks & would shove it down, every bite! The crew then was like family, we would go white water rafting! I met my husband-to-be here, Asst. Mgr. Tom Porter. He made killer pizzas; so did the GM Tommy Morreau. My fiancée Tom went on to be a KY State Trooper & recently retired as Police Captain in Frankfort. I miss the good old days!
I have been going to this Pizza Inn location for nearly 40 years. My parents took me there when I was little, and now I am taking my kids there. Pizza Inn has changed a lot over that time, but it is still a great family restaurant with great pizza at very reasonable prices. My favorite pizza is pork sausage (not Italian sausage!) with Italian (pepperoncini) peppers on their classic thin crust. (I think they are a bit more skimpy on the pizza sauce than they used to be years ago, so my tip is to order with extra sauce, if you are getting take-out rather than buffet.)
Good pizza and the turkey club bravo is killer !! :-) ,,,,plus a free movie rental with 15 $ order for the night ,, on my way now ,, :-)
Very good pizza buffet. The staff was very professional & friendly. Great place to eat. I'll most definitely be back!!!
Ahh!mazing. Tried it for the first time and I was please with the service and food. Highly recommend!
