I come here only because it's the only place open after work. And every time I am either extremely disappointed or pissed off when I leave. This time I called ahead and put my name down at 7:15 I arrived at 7:09. It is now 7:38 and I am still waiting and two people have walked in and been serviced before me. No one has said anything to me.
I found that they did not clean the files or drill before using. At first I want pointed nails then decides against them that was before she started to file my nails and said I couldn't change my mind.I thought I very rude .First time there and it will be my last.
Buyers beware, my wife called about getting her nails done. She was told it would be $30. When she went to pay "Sean" said $50 because of the color. Then charged my card $100 "by accident". Supposedly I'll be charged $50. Called my credit card company $100 "pending" charge.
I went in today after shopping with a particular request. I had a photo of what I wanted and before starting they advised me they could do some but not all and we figured out what would work best. Very friendly and helpful in getting the customer what they are looking for.
I know a really sweet person that lost her arm in a bad car accident. She went into Luxor to have her nails painted on her new mechanical arm and the guy was EXTREMELY RUDE to her and pretty much REFUSED to paint her nails! What kind of person does that?!!!!
Leigh is awesome! Always a great cut!
Beautiful Nails on Southside - DO NOT GO THERE. Gave me a fungal infection and uses dental acrylic! I have always had long natural nails. Due to my job they have been getting weak. Decided to get acrylic overlay for the first time a month ago. Went to Beautiful because I see it when I go to Walmart. Not knowing what to avoid I didn’t realize he was drilling my nails paper thin. Didn’t question why he had a mask on. Nails looked OK, felt strong, but the polish started to wear at the tips after a couple of days. I gave him another chance and went back after 10 days for a fill. He works so fast you can’t even see your nails while he’s working. Again, the polish started to wear and also chip very quickly, so I decided to try somewhere else. As soon as my new tech started trying to remove the old acrylic she told me it was the banned MMA (dental) acrylic. It took forever to soak and scrape off. Once it was removed she also showed me that I have a fungal infection on two nails. Yuk! I went home & did some research on MMA. That crap ruins your nails! And it can rip them from their beds! I’m so mad. And now I have to have ugly nails while I wait for the fungus to clear up. Never ever go to Beautiful Nails on Southside! I will be complaining to the State Board.
It's awesome! I got acrylic french tips for the first time and was kinda nervous because on reviews everywhere stores were either amazing or horrible. They did a very wonderful job, they were very friendly, and very affordable.
