I'm grateful to have purchased my vehicle from this dealership. I was a bit hesitant at first, but the people there and the ambiance made me feel comfortable. I didn't feel any pressure. The sales man was very detail-oriented and he addressed all my questions and concerns. The managers were pleasant to negotiate with as well. All in all, it was a nice experience. I recommend this dealership and I love my newly purchased vehicle!
just got a car from them yesterday and I promised to leave them a review. Very nice people to work with. My credit is not great but still they work it out to get me a low rate. It just took time because I have to wait for the best bank to approve it. Worth the wait. Now I don't have to take the bus. What a relief. Thanks guys for the help.
Thanks karplus for the help that you extended me even if no other dealership will approve me. You made the buying process easy for me. Thanks to the internet manager rey for explaining to me everything I need to know over the phone before I even came to the dealership. Recommended dealer specially if you have hopeless credit. I have my car for 3 weeks already and everything is fine except for the flat tire that I got 2 days ago. I notice that I did not have the jack in the compartment. Karplus service gladly send someone to help me out. You are great guys.
We just purchase a 2011 Dodge Ram from karplus last week and it was easy and not hard as we expected. I'm a first time buyer and was referred by a friend that have purchased 2 cars from karplus and I'm glad I did it. They make the buying process easy and less pressure on my part. I waited a little bit because they need an approval from the bank first while I wait because I'm buying a vehicle which is more that what I can get as first time buyer. I had a decent down payment and good job but my credit has few dings which is not serious. If you want to buy a vehicle check this dealer first. Reviews shows some bad, but if you see its mostly out of the dealers control or buyers remorse. See for yourself and be smart.
This dealership has a huge inventory. My family has buying cars from them since way back. They are kind of a neighborhood thing. They take care of the family here in Pacoima. Just browsing through the web and thought about leaving a review for them as I saw them popped out of google search. as thanking them for everything they have done for our family.
My review is based on my personal experience 1 year ago and nothing to do with whatever I have read online. I just want to be fair with whoever I'm leaving the review specially with Karplus which I read the reviews after I purchased and more of the bad reviews does not make sense to me and more of a buyer's remorse or bad luck rather than service oriented reviews. First of all Karplus is selling pre-owned vehicles which means it is used not by them but whoever is the previous owner is. As far as I know, they get their vehicle from auction the same way all the dealership get theirs. By deciding to buy a pre-owned vehicle because you don't want to spend tons of money on a new one, you should already know the precautions you need to take before doing so. I don't blame them if somewhere along the way of owning the vehicle, you might have a bad luck and having problems with the vehicle. I believe that if you want to go the direction of blaming others instead of yourself, first you blame yourself, then the manufacturer of the car, then the owner of the car, then last is the dealer who sold it to you. Even if you buy a brand new vehicle which in my case happened to me 2 times, after the warranty expired I have problems with my steering on my 2006 Murano which I was charge by the dealer $2000 to fix it. It only has 37k miles but basic warranty is gone and powertrain is left, then at 50k miles axle had a problem that warranty covered, next is my New 2011 Pilot which below 10k miles developed a noise on the engine and a transmission shifting problem as well. These experience brought me to just buy a pre-owned vehicle which is great on value and you can still purchase an extended warranty up to the same term as what the brand new car has. Back to my experience. I was searching online and found Karplus website that promted me to scan there vehicles. I was in a market for a compact sized car for dependability and economy reasons, a car that I can just use in the valley from point A to B. Yelp also showed on the result page but did not bother to read. I saw a 2012 Chevy Cruze on their website and considering the price miles and year, it's perfect on what I was looking for. I called and set-up an appointment with one of the salesperson and to tell you the truth, he was persistent on bringing me in the dealership. I gave it a shot and came the next day which is my day off. I test drove the Cruze but seems very less space for cargo. I went around the lot and they have a huge inventory. I saw a 2012 Malibu which is in my price range and fell in love with it. Went ahead and dealt with the numbers. It took a little bit because I was not planning to purchase that day. They did everything to persuade me. Import things which got them my business. 1) They showed me the Carfax. 2) The advised me to show it to my mechanic( I spend $150 for this a peace of mind). 3)Financing was great that I could not resist. 4) Last is they gave me a 3 months warranty for free if I buy that day. Overall I have a great experience and it's been 1 year and my Malibu is still in great condition with only changing oils between intervals and other minor maintenance. I would definitely recommend them based on my experience. I believe that sometimes luck plays a big role in buying a vehicle whether it's a new or preowned. Just be a wise buyer. That's it.
I have been with Karplus for over 9 years now. I have always been treated with the upmost respect from Ken. He always listens to my needs and I am able to always find a viable solution. Ken is the only person I will deal with as he treats me like I am one of the family. I just bought a BMW X5. I have only had it a couple of days but am falling in love with my new vehicle.
Thank you Ken for such excellent Customer Service
I went to this place because I live around 3 miles from this lot and once a while I pass by and wondering when I could retire my beat up car and get into a newer vehicle. I was not expecting to get a brand new car due to my credit is not good and I'm sure I will not afford payments on it, bad things happened before! As a single mom, I'm not adventurous to deal with this situations. My friend accompany me late night and to cut it short. everything when well with my purchase except when I woke up in the morning that the detailing was not done right. I called and they schedule me for that reason. After a week, again in the the morning one of the tires are flat. I just got the vehicle and the tires are flat??? they could have checked the tires for nails or anything before I left the dealership???.
I was in the market for a vehicle and while surfing the web, reviews pops out. This is a huge dealership, probably the biggest in the valley. Bought a 4runner a while back without any problems and a great price too. For me it was a good experience. It would be unfair for karplus if I don't voice out. I'm back in the market and would be looking at their cars. For complainants, do your homework first or get a second opinion from a mechanic, these are pre-owned vehicles and even brand new vehicles breaks down.
I got my silvarado 2500 with karplus. A salesman named James helped me out,.. its been a couple of months and so far so good, the staff was nice, I want to go back to get a car that is more economical, like a honda or toyota, I will contact James hope he still works there, he was so nice and helpful!
I purchased a chevy HHR from them last year and when I saw the bad review I had to respond. The folks at the dealership did everything to make it a smooth transaction and even now (a year later) if I call with a question they remember me and bend over backwards to help. This is my second car that I've purchased from
Karsplus and I will keep going back when in the market for a car.
