Working To End Pet Over Population
General Info
Mercy Crusade's History Mercy Crusade was founded in 1949 by Betty Cardoni. The main focus of the organization was to provide financial assistance for spaying and neutering cats and dogs in Los Angeles. Betty saw the needless suffering and killing of thousands of companion animals that were either living on the streets or brought to the local shelters because the owners no longer wanted them. Having seen this suffering, she set out to make a difference, and that she did. Betty's accomplishments are numerous and significant. Thousands of dollars have been raised and used for animal welfare efforts. Overall

I took my dog in who had been bitten by another dog. The Vet was so kind & gentle with her as he cleaned & irrigated her wound. He gave her a shot, prescribed antiobiotics and recommended a flea medicine as her old medicine quit working. The new pill for fleas is working great and her wound is healing nicely. I would definitely go back.

Overall

I didn't wait long. The service they provided was very professional. It doesn't cost much. The office staff is very nice. The only bad thing was that the vet tech tried to give me a speech about my dog because a ladies small dog snapped on my dog( my dog did nothing before or after the little dog went crazy.) while I was at the front desk. The lady was sitting right in front of the counter/door. I proceed to tell him my dog is not aggressive and he needed to tell the lady what he was telling me because she had the aggressive dog and shouldn't be sitting where she sat if she couldn't control her dog. He told me he was sorry and that it was only because if my dog would have done something he would have hurt the little dog because I have a big dog. I told him if my dog is being attacked and protects his self that is not his fault. Other then that they are always great.

Overall

The staff is really friendly, the doctors are great, but their lack of staff help and reasonably low prices creates a busy and hectic ambiance.
