The store was organized so it was easy to find what I needed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The prices were about the same as what I found in most of the other office stores that I have been to in Ventura County. .

Awful technical and customer service experience at Fry's in Oxnard.I will never again trust the people at Fry's located in Oxnard, CA. In mid Nov. 2014. I brought my laptop, (that I purchased at that store) to them for repair. They to it checked it in said in needed repair and told me it would be 30 days. Thirty days later, I checked back. I was told it was sent to ASUS, the manufacturer, and it would be another 30 days. I finally received a call from the Fry's computer repair section. I was told to the laptop could not be fixed and I am getting a brand new laptop--same model. Later after calling ASUS with a technical issue on the PC, I find out that my "new laptop" was a refurbished laptop. I think Fry's lost my original laptopNext, I live 2 hours away from the Fry's in Oxnard CA. When I called to ask if the laptop was still under a repair warranty I was told I would need to bring the laptop in to determine that. Guess what, the genius technicians that Fry's employs was either too lazy to look into their database to answer the question or they are told to tell everyone to come to the store. Even after tell the guy that I lived 2 hours away. Finally, I arrived at Fry's and the female technician said she would connect it to their equipment to run some tests as a free courtesy. I thought that was great. Well, to her, testing the laptop as free courtesy meant taking the laptop for several weeks and charging me a fee. I will not go into how the majority of employees have an attitude of not wanting to be there.I called Geek Squad at BestBuy, they were 4 times as helpful, and I didn't purchase the laptop from them.Fry's in Oxnard has gone bad. Also, the store has a lot of empty shelves. The employees all say that they are waiting on new season inventory, but they have been empty for 6 months.
Most products ok but big store.
Horrid customer service. The staff I dealt with was totally unprofessional and didn't give a damn about customer care. Called another day and was put on hold for twenty minutes. Don't bother. Find their prices online and shop at a place that will match them. Fry's sucks.Whoever's managing this store better either shape up your staff or start looking for a different line of work
