My husband and I visited panera this morning to see the new store. It was actually a very beautiful cafe and the staff was very friendly, but the food was mediocre at best. I got a bacon egg and cheese bagel that's bread was really good (which I guess is their signature) but the content in the sandwich just wasn't good. It had two very shriveled up tasteless pieces of bacon, an egg with no flavor and some cheese. I went back inside to get some pastries to take home. Realistically I could have gotten these pastries at a gas station and they would have tasted just as good if not better. They were cold, kinda stale and not very exciting. The atmosphere just did not match the food. I don't know if lunch is any better, but I really hope so because breakfast was really really subpar. :(

I love Panera Bread. Was super excited to see Oxford host as it is a sign of my little hometown prospering. Went thru the drive-thru today, and service was very friendly yet slow. Nothing I didn't expect. I was in no hurry, so no problem. I ordered half a Greek salad with chicken and extra dressing. She repeated my order back to me twice. When at the window, the girl was very sweet and smiling and repeated my order once again. When I opened my salad, there was no chicken at all and no extra dressing. Totally bummed. Upon further inspection, the edges of the lettuce were brown and shriveled. I gave up, picked out the olives and ate them, and threw the rest away. So disappointed.
If an order is wrong take it inside and have them fix it. I think the previous 2 reviews are very biased. 1 was the day Panera opened. The second could have been easily fixed. I've become a frequent customer and love they're flavorful food. Yes, they need to pick up the pace but they've been busy since opening.
