Chow Time Grill Buffet

This typical Chinese buffet and grill, is just that "typical". I have visited this business several times and the food is good and the service is good. At other times, the food has been "buffett food" and service has been lacking. Families looking for a typical affordable meal will like this restaurant.

Family was in town for a funeral; 8 of us went to this place due to a recommendation.The good: there's a variety of selections.The service was HORRIBLE.The hostess was NOT welcoming & appeared to reluctantly seat us at a table.The server (young Asian lady) took our drink orders & when questioned of the selections, she "barked" responses. She brought the drinks & sat them all at one end of the table as if we were suppose to pass them down & distribute them ourselves.One of our guests did not like her rudeness; he left and explained to the lady at the register why he was leaving. She said, "ok" without questioning why. Nothing was explained to us as to what we should do, i.e. go on up, serve ourselves or if we all were having the buffet. I later asked the same rude server for a knife.She pointed to an area & said, "It's over there."If you're in town & this place if recommended, RUN because 4 of our family members consistently ran to the bathroom after eating.My $.12 tip was appropriate.
