D'souza, Anthony, MD

Dr. D'Souza is actually a five star, but his office staff is terrible (except for Tommy). They want a credit card on file to be a patient, which I find offensive to start off with. I have been a patient of Dr. D'Souza's for 15 years. In April of 2010 I had a heart attack and open heart surgery. I had a follow up appnt with him in May and the billing mgr. called me the day before my appt and said I had an outstanding bill of $350 and to make a payment when I came in. This is crazy, I didn't even have an EOB yet! She suggested I reschedule my appt until I made a payment. Seriously??? I was so upset, I couldn't even believe what I was hearing. I asked them to have the doc call me three times so I could discuss this with him and am still waiting (a week later). I have never heard of such a heart=less cardiac office and adminstration in my life. I love Dr. D'Souza but they have become way too money hungry IMO. What a shame!!! Unbelievable. I will go elsewhere. Terrible Staff!
