Mohs Surgery
MOHS surgery has the highest cure rate for basal and squamous cell skin cancers. It is the best method for treating tumors that have come back after other treatments have failed. MOHS surgery offers cure rates of up to 99 %; other methods can only achieve a cure rate of 50 to 90%.

Botox
Botox is administered using very tiny needle injections directly into the muscles in the area to be treated. No anesthesia is required, although a cold pack is used to help numb the area prior to injecting. A numbing cream can also be applied one hour prior to the procedure.
Laser Resurfacing
This laser delivers deep columns of small microbeams into the epidermis (top layer of skin) and dermis (deeper layer of skin). When this happens the microbeams effectively remove or ablate damaged skin in specific microtheramal zones, while leaving small areas of healthy skin in between. The healthy skin surrounding the treatment zone promotes a high rate of skin rejuvenation and significantly aids in healing while decreasing patient downtime as compared to the traditional ablative laser resurfacing procedures. Results of this procedure are noticeable, and ultimately positive.

Dr Edge completed his medical degree and post-graduate training in dermatology at the University of Louisville.
