I was a stay at home Mom and nervous about leaving my son in the care of someone else for the first time. Kids 'R' Kids made the transition easy. What helped the most was the live stream cameras in the classroom. Knowing I could check in on my son at anytime was comforting. It is a safe and secure environment and I like that the kids need to be signed in and out everyday. The front office staff are always there to greet you with a smile and are happy to help with any question you might have. The VPK Teachers are some of the nicest people you will meet. Any concerns I had about my son adjusting were dealt with quickly and kindly.Thank you to The owners, office staff and Teachers for providing a safe and friendly environment in which my son loves to go and learn.

I am so happy that my family found this little gem! My girls absolutely love it here and are excited to go school each day. With small class sizes, the well qualified teachers are able to give each student the individualized attention that not many traditional preschools can offer. The staff members are all mothers themselves and offer the same interactive-friendly care they would their own child. Each time I drop off my children I know they are in good hands especially since my girls constantly talk about how much they enjoy their time with their teachers and friends. At CFCP children learn through hands-on/play-like activities (sorting, sensory play, and crafts to name a few) no need to worry about boring, ineffective worksheets for small children! For example, students are encouraged to bring in books, and items from home that start with the letter of the week to share during circle time. This method works great as it boosts students love for learning through parent/child involvement. These methods helps students to develop socially as they are eager to present the items to classmates, my oldest has blossomed from being shy and timid to really owning her true character. CFCP is a wonderful place and my girls are lucky to be a part of it! I say all of this as parent and as an early childhood education professional. If you are considering this place, please do not miss out on the opportunity and schedule a visit/tour so you can experience firsthand what they are all about.
I have 3 children and for the past 8 years (and currently) I have had a child at First Years Preschool and never had one single problem. They are wonderful!! The building is brand new, it is so child friendly, clean, it is perfect! I have never worried one day about the care of my children. I have family members and several friends who have also loved it just as much as me. The child does need to be potty trained in the 3 year old class but that wasn't a problem for my children and in the 2 year old class they did help by asking the children several times if they needed to use the potty. I just love this early Christian education my children received at FYPS, the loving and caring staff are a huge plus! I can't say enough about what a great school it is!! Music, Religion, Art, Chapel, Recess, they have it all, it's an A+ in my book. :) Call Shannon Chambley the Director for your tour, you won't regret it!
Absolutely love the teachers and Directors! When we first chose the school, the cameras in the classroom were a huge selling point. I was eager to see that my boys were loved and cared for each and everyday. After the first few weeks, I honestly never turn the website on unless one of them had a bad morning and I want to check on him. The toddler teachers love my little one. They have him talking and saying so many words. He has learned all of his classmates names and can "read" to me who each cubby belongs to when we get his special blanket to take home each night. The afternoon teachers are mostly college students and they are so organized. They always know about my son's day, including how he slept and ate throughout the day.My 3 year old is not as easygoing but has attached to his old and new teachers. He loves being able to go "back" to his old class in the afternoon as the classes combine so the teachers can clean and prepare the room for the next day. He has even tried new foods thanks to Ms. Kelly in the kitchen! My best experience at Kids R Kids was when my oldest son was taking medicine for an ear infection. I had brought the antibiotics to school with him so he could have his mid-day dose. Each night that week, I remembered to take it home with me but with it being a long week, that rainy Friday night I forgot. After dinner when I realized, I picked up my phone to call the school to see if anyone was there and had a missed call from Ms. Pam saying she realized I forgot the medicine and to call the school as soon as possible. She even waited for me to 7:45 PM (school closed at 7) ON A FRIDAY! You can't find many people like that in today's world that care that much about your kids.We have found the BEST school! P.S. My neighbors put their 2nd and 4th grade children in the summer camp this summer and they loved it too. The kids went on field trips everyday and were so excited to tell us where they went!
