I am writing this recommendation for the reason that I have been a satisfied client of this shop for a very long time. Thank you so much!
Great place to visit in a somewhat quaint environment. If you like British baked goods both sweet and savory choices then you're in for a treat as they all the British favorites including genuine sausage rolls which they make everything fresh each day and you can see it been prepared for you in the open kitchen bakery design. English afternoon teas which require 24 hour notice to book. What surprised me was the pizza, I'm not really a big pizza fan but it was really tart and just a little different flavor and clean eating...highly recommended a visit
I absolutely love the gluten free wedding cake cupcakes. When we were there, they were out of them, but the girl working offered to go in back and create 3 of them for me. They were delicious. And since it is a rare treat for me, I appreciate that she went the extra mile.
150% rating on customer service and the food taste! Brooke (& I believe Marge) were both extremely nice, offering a great personal experience while being informative about their food products. I had the organic beef sandwich and let me tell you, I could eat that thing every day! DELICIOUS! I would also highly recommend their breakfast cookies! I'll definitely be a reoccurring customer, and I suggest you do the same. You won't be disappointed. :)
My wife and I have slipped away more than once to Clock Tower Bakery! It was a pleasant surprise to discover a very clean, quaint, unique bakery in the area! A place where they actually bake the tasty items right there! I could write a 5 star review on the cinnamon rolls alone, but then you wouldn't grasp all of the goodness! The muffins, the scones, the bread, the cakes, the soups, pizza, on and on!! All in a pleasant environment and prepared and served by pleasant people. The perfect experience!
I have never been treated so rudely or experienced such lack of professionalism, as I did today when I came in to order a cake for a birthday party that I will be hosting at the end of April. I was told that quite frankly the cake I had in mind was "too labor intensive" and that she would not make it because she has weddings that she is SO busy with. She made me feel horrible by telling me multiple times that she is "so busy" and that three month's time "is not enough notice"....I don't know what planet this woman lives on that three months notice is not enough notice to make a birthday cake? Are you kidding me? The straw that broke the camel's back for me was when she acted like she was doing me a huge favor by offering to make me a simple butter cream cake (which by the way she wanted to charge me $100 for), rather than the fondant cake that I came in asking for. I can order a butter cream cake from any grocery store in town, I came to a "gourmet bakery" because I wanted a gourmet cake.Irina is rude, condescending and acted as though she had no time for my insignificant birthday cake, when she is oh so busy making wedding cakes. Get over yourself Irina, you are not a celebrity cake maker in Beverly Hills.I will never, ever be back and I will be sure to spread the word about the lack of professionalism that is Irina's "gourmet" bakery!
They run out of the good stuff so early!!! Very sad because I love kolaches!
Dorky guy with glasses horrible customer service. I went there and started looking through my wallet and the dork with glasses didn't even say hi but went straight to what do you want? I said, a smoothie hold on. Stared at me like a complete idiot. I only come here for the mango smoothie but now will have to find a new place. Hope the owner sees this and either fires him or sends him to a customer service seminar. Very rude, not friendly, looks trashy and is horribly disrespectful. Quality of food smoothies and other is great but customer service lacks very much so. Lost a customer for life and will tell all my friends about the worst customer service I had there. I pay money to be disrespected. Hope the dork sees this.Got a prob, e-mail me.
Connie's has the best sugar cookies ever. The cookie it self it light as air & moist! The frosting is fluffy. They also serve the best cupcakes! The cake itself is moist & airy and the frosting is just like what mom used to make, not the heavy butter cream stuff! To top off the cupcakes they sprinkle sparkly flecks on top, or fairy dust, which ever your imagination cares to go with! Wonderful!
