K-Macho's is by far the best Mexican Restaurant in town. Once you eat there it's very hard to like the food of the other Mexican restaurants in town because K-Macho's food is very authentic and delicious. Seriously, their steaks are the best! I've been going there with my family since they opened their first location in Olathe. The atmosphere is very authentic as well, it brings you to an amazing experience like you are in Mexico! I totally recommend K-Macho's!
My favorite Mexican place to eat!!! You must try the Mexican chili. The guac is made to order fresh with real avocados not that canned stuff others places use. The service is great...they treat you like part of the family💞I've been going here since I was a little girl...about 45 years! I stop by once a week and get carry out and try to visit once during the weekend...i love this place and you will too💞
Food is very blah. The Queso has zero flavor. The rice and beans were the kind you microwave. Very disgusting. I couldn't even finish my food. The only good thing was the service and the sweet tea.
Taco Via at 95th and Antioch is a tradition. It's not that the food is awesome. It's nostalgic. It's home. It's the crushed ice, the big booths, the melted cheese nachos, the steamed sancho, the Galaga game in the corner, the cups of taco sauce you can drink straight on a dare from your friends. it's Debbie the cashier who's worked there for 40 years plus. If you're looking for authentic Mexican or Tex/Mex food, this isn't it. This is Taco Burgers and Taco Dogs and Burritos with Onion Sauce. It's a trip back to a great time. It's home.
If you are looking for delicious food, comfortable atmosphere, friendly people & courteous service all at a reasonable price then you've found it here! Have been coming here for years & even when I lived out of KC, Torreador was always on my "must visit" list!!
One of my favorite Mexican restaurants in town. I love the laid back atmosphere and of course, the delicious food. I have had almost everything in their menu and love it all! Their salsa is my favorite. Friendly staff . I love supporting the small family business and this restaurant has been around a long time. Which to me speaks volumes . Thanks for the great food and drinks!
Where should I start? They sat us at the table farthest from the front even though my friend was walking with a cane and there were plenty of open tables in the front. Then , when I asked the waiter for a House magarita he said it cost 12.99, then he said it was 8.99. I ordered it on rocks no salt. He brings me a huge specialty margarita with salt. Their real house margarita is 4.50. I sent the drink with the salt back. My friend order fajitas and she stressed to the waiter that she wanted the onions and peppers cooked well. Of course they were almost raw when he served her meal. So we had to wait for them to cook the veges on the fajitas. Also she said no rice and extra beans. She got rice and no extra beans. And there was no cheese on the fajita plate. Never again.
The food was OK but the service was SLOW. They took away my drink to refill and never came back with it. After 10 plus minutes, I had to ask for another but that was only after I found a server. if you are in a hurry, you may want to choose another.
If you like the "Mexican" restaurants that serve bland blended tomatoes and flavorless, seasoning-less chips....followed by koolaide flavored strawberry margaritas...by all means check this place out. But the disappointment didn't end there. We ordered a small white cheese dip which reminded us of microwaved white velveeta. We requested our tab after 2 sips deciding it's not worth it. Most of the staff seemed to huddle around the kitchen entry talking and appearing bored or....lost? The server huffed off when we informed her the drinks had a weird taste, not to mention sugar on the brim of the glassinstead of the salt we'd requested. On the plus side the manager or her trainer(apparently she was new) offered us other drinks which we did cordially turned down. His efforts were cancelled out by a remark that no one ever complains about their product and apparently we are the anomaly...if the owner reads this.....please, consider seasoning and taking more pride in the food quality. Try adding some fresh strawberries to the drinks or something!
