First time visit, ordered Wednesday special & waited long time, had to ask server to check on food. Chicken burned on bottom & bland unseasoned, bacon in green bean side burned, roll microwaved. Advised nice waitress who consulted manager. Our dinner was free but manager never came to see us, apologized or suggested we give them another opportunity to do better! Poor business etiquette . Nice atmosphere maybe it's ok as a saloon certainly not as a restaurant!!!

If You Love To Dive

I love Longbranch, because they exist - somehow - by not caring. Their food is mediocre bar fare - absolutely nothing notable, at all, ever. The wait staff is steeped in surly for 3 hours daily. The premises are Bar Chic in every sense of the term. But the joint is usually filled and the people there know just exactly what they're getting - and going back for time and time again. If you're traveling through KC, don't make it a point to stop by, but if you're bored with The Peanut and Talk of The Town, drop by Walt's place - it's more of the same in a whole other place.
