I have bought three SUV's from this CarMax in the last year and half. No problems with the sales people, the business office, or the maintenance department, which by the way has been very minimal. I highly recommend the purchase of a quality used vehicle offered at a reasonable price from this CarMax.
Just had a GREAT experience with Roddie at the body shop. The work was OUTSTANDING and it looks like the damage was never there. This is a black vehicle which is the hardest the finish. HP
The absolute worst place to get your car fixed. I was in an accident because I was rear ended and my car was getting the bumper replaced their. Got a call was ready to be picked up and went to get it. The bumber was a different color and wasn't fully attached. Didn't accept it and they kept it to "fix it " got a call a few days ago and went to pick up my car. Still doesn't match and the bumper isn't attached correctly! After 3 weeks I am still without my car. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!!
Miles Joseph in the Service Department has taken care of my three Volvo's for 10 years. I appreciate his courtesy and consideration. He will often fix small issues on short notice. He's the reason I keep going back.
Like the previous review, I too wish I could give this service department zero stars. I bought my Volvo a year ago (April of 2014) from the Hendrick Volvo that shut down and reopened as Volvo of Overland Park. Dealing with that transition has been as odd as it gets. From the inability of the service department to stay open during posted hours (on the website it states the Saturday hours are 8:30a - 6 pm, on 3/28/15 we called at 3pm and the front desk informed us they were closed for the day), to the unprofessional way they communicate with customers (Hung up on my girlfriend once, reprimanded me for my choice of words when I called back and described her being hung-up on as "kind of a prick thing to do", and waiting two weeks for a call back on a part that I ordered, and paid for, that was promised to come within a "few days"), the service department at Volvo of Overland Park is about as inept as it gets. Steve, the service department manager, and apparently part time FCC enthusiast, assured me (after making sure I changed my use of the word "prick to "meanie") that they would honor the discounted oil change coupon they had given me earlier in the year for their lack of competent service, a bold move on Steve's part, even though he was "pretty certain" that in his lengthy tenure as head of the service dept. he had never even heard of such a coupon existing. Simply stated, the service folks at Volvo of Overland Park are about as socially and professionally challenged a group of gentlemen as I have ever encountered, and if you are on the fence as to whether or not you should pay WAY more for parts and service at Volvo of Overland Park...I would just recommend not.
Absolutely horrible and unscrupulous dealer. Sat on car title for over 2 months after selling/trading the car to another local dealer. They should have their dealer license revoked for such business practices. Anyone who deals with them should be prepared for disappointment and frustration.
wish that I could give this place no stars. they were rude to me, did not listen to what I was saying, had a loud mouth lady come running out of the front office yelling to me when I tried to leave. so unprofessional and so disappointing. I expected more from hendrick. will never go back there again.
Our salesman, Erik was great. While buying cars are often stressful, this experience was fantastic.
Our salesman said we could give them $500 to hold a car for 2 days till Saturday when we could pick it up. THEY SOLD IT TO SOMEBODY ELSE without even calling us to let us know or give us a chance to pick it up early. SO DISAPPOINTING. Deciding on a car is a stressful enough process without having to do it all again. The next pick will be from SOMEWHERE ELSE! Makes a person wonder if we had decided not to get it, would they have kept the $500?
I bought a car from Bohemia Cars and the entire experience was an absolute pleasure. Prior to going out to Kansas to get the car, Daniel happily answered all of my questions and emails regarding the car and always did so promptly. Upon arrival, he let me take the car out and test drive it to make sure that it was exactly what I expected and that I didn't have any concerns. The car was everything that I expected and more. After test driving the car, we went back to his office where he already had the title and all of the paperwork ready, and we closed a deal on the car. The entire experience was pressure and hassle free. Just like he states on his website, he prides himself in only buying reliable cars with clean vehicle history reports. He was very friendly and professional, and unlike most car dealers he was completely honest about everything right from the start. If I'm ever in the market for a used car again, I'll be sure to see what Bohemia Cars has in stock. Thanks again Daniel!
