Bridge City Sanitation

his could be a good company but if you have special needs, forget about it. Even though you've been a walk up since the onset, their walk up service is hit & miss. Today is Monday, 6:11 PM. My trash is to be picked up on Fridays. Didn't happen. I called & was told it would be picked up Monday. ( by the way, there are 2 women in the office.. I've dealt with both..the one sounding "older" is spot on...the other, nothing gets done..unfortunately the "younger" one is the one I've been stuck with this time). At 3 PM, now Monday, I called again. She said they would pick it up at the end of their day. At 4:40 PM, I called & left a msg with the recording that it was almost 5 PM, still overflowing trash. I have an exterminator coming tomorrow AM and NEED this service that I am PAYING for done. No response. Called at 6 PM, recording, gave address & advised still overflowing trash that NEEDS picked up before AM. Jody Gates is great at making rules and regulations for Ottumwa, a community she does not even live in, but when a need is made known, the need is ignored. What good is health regulations when opossums ( and they are filthy animals ) are attracted to overflowing trash and Bridge City Sanitation ( not the workers..I believe they weren't told to pick it up ) do not respond? A clue on scheduled days could be : has this address been a walk up service for the last 3 yrs??? Hmmm, this address doesn't have the trash curbside....maybe a walk up??? I am beyond frustrated.
