I came here to get a tuneup on my supercharged Jaguar. Most shops don’t want to work on a Jaguar like this. Louis did the tuneup, replaced the belts and hoses for less than half it would have cost me at the Jaguar dealer. Very friendly service.

NOT a guy you can trust. Friendly faces and a bunch of BS. They tell you what you want to hear and my car has had more problems since I started going to them, which has been 5times total within a 8mon. Don't go here.

I've never had a problem with louie or his wife. They have always been good to me.

Disappointed again. I had Louie's work on my vehicles numerous times over the past 7 years, but this was my last. Again, I took my truck in to have a back bearing replaced. Due to the age of the vehicle it cost me a little more which was OK.... but in the process, Louie again was pushing the hard "up-sell", "you need to replace the other back bearing, the back rotors are rusted and need to be replaced and I can't gaurentee what will happen when you're on the road"... the old fear approach... By the sound of it, the other bearing is not that bad yet. I explained that I wanted to save and pay cash for the repair and he told me to post date a check and I can fix it today. OK... right a check for money I don't have right now... uh "NO!". So I was blunt and told him to fix the bearing that I went in for. I picked up the truck and drove off. As I got onto Ogden the back assembly area he was working on was making this LOUD scraping noise like something was rubbing (on and off in a pattern). Louie got in my truck and went for a ride. IMMEDIATELY he told me it was my brakes and it was my rotor rubbing because it was warped and because of the new bearing being so much quieter I could hear it. I voiced my concern over his recommendation and the new noise and that I had a hard time believing his explanation. He insisted it was the brakes and told me "if you replace both back rotors and pads the problem would go away". I told Louie that's a lot of money and I just can't keep throwing money at this and that I like to save for expenses like this... He told me to post date a check for two weeks and he could fix my issues.......
The loud noise that I heard started THAT DAY and I knew it wasn't what he was telling me. He talked to me like I knew nothing and told me "I fix things here, I don't break them". He told me to come back on Monday because he was closing. He got out of the truck and I drove off with this loud noise in the back of m y truck. I went home, raised the truck up with my 2.5 ton jack and pulled off the tire. IMMEDIATELY I could see the issue. My aluminum coating on the inside of my rim was peeled away and was rubbing against my brake cable. I tore off the aluminum coating sticking out on the inner rim. I then put the truck in nuetral while up on the jack and rotated the back rotor. Warped? I couldn't see it. hhhmmm.. I put the tire back on and took the truck for a drive. The loud noise was gone. Boy... I saved myself at LEAST $400.00 in brakes and realized that when I get my hub & bearing replaced on the other side, I won't be going back to Louie. Disrespect, the almighty dollar and not looking at the issue before telling me what was wrong is bad customer service. I recommend as a consumer to select a different auto repair shop in Oswego.

These people are just like the old time mechanics I remember from my youth (50 years ago). No B.S., No mysterious ailments. Just straight, this is whats wrong, this is what I charge to fix it. and it's done right the first time, on time for the price they told you.
I will use Louie for anything automotive I need for as long as were both around.
