My roofing project went ok. They sent a large crew and finished in one day. Unfortunately, they spray painted the new roof vents without my knowledge or permission. The spray paint began to peel in less than one year. After many phone calls and many weeks, they eventually did send a guy out to correct the situation.

We replaced all our windows with Pinnacle Lindsay replacement windows through Minnesota Exteriors. This was a large investment to do all the windows but it came out much better compared to other companies and installers out there. The two installers arrived on-time each day and completed the work quickly and professionally. They were VERY experienced and cleaned up after themselves as well. I'd highly recommend this company to anyone. If you are looking at some of those large companies out there selling their own windows, take a look at Minnesota Exteriors. They have a large selection of windows of better quality and at a lower price. You'll get an unbiased opinion, not sold on a single brand of windows. For us we went with the Pinnacle Lindsay Windows which are made here in Minnesota. I would highly recommend Minnesota Exteriors for your replacement windows - they know their stuff!

MEI did windows for our entire house plus a patio door. We were satisfied with the work and the costumer service was great. Cindy was our sales rep. and she was great to work with and always got back to us in a timely manner with answers to our questions. I would recommend MEI to anyone looking to replace windows in their home.

We recently purchased a home that has original windows (the house was built in the early 90's) and they are deteriorating and showing signs of rot. We will have to replace all of the windows in the home. We are planning to spread this project over the course of 3 years. MEI did the first round of window replacements for us this summer.



Everything went very smoothly. They have a big showroom and that was very nice because it allowed us to see all of the different window options side by side. We decided to go with Lindsay/Pinnacle windows and also one Weather shield window. We probably would have done all Lindsay windows, but Weathershield had a finish that was a better match for the trim finishes in our basement. We decided to go with Lindsay mostly because of the lifetime transferable warranty, quality, and also the fact that they are a local company. We found MEI through Ryan at My 3 Quotes (his service is awesome to help find the lowest cost contractors for window replacement and he manages the project for you from beginning to end; www.getmy3quotes.com) and we were pleased with their responsiveness and professionalism. They also have a lifetime warranty on their labor! We plan to use them next year for "phase two" of replacing our additional windows. Windows are a (shockingly) huge expense and I did a LOT of research to find the best quality for our money and i feel that we got a great value from MEI.

We used MEI this past winter to perform a full window replacement of our 1960s era single pane casement windows with brand new wood framed Anderson dual paned windows. Brian, our salesman, came out and inspected the windows, took measurements and a trim sample and provided a quote within a couple days. What was really excellent was the service when the installation team came out to our house. They came during the coldest stretch of the winter this past January and installed 14 out of the 15 windows. This whole process of removing and reinstalling new windows, including any interior sash work and exterior wrapping, was done in the same day, keeping the cold out of the house as much as possible. On the 15th window, it was noticed that the measurements were off and that a different window was needed. To MEIs credit, they placed an order with Anderson and had a new replacement within a couple weeks. They also corrected an error in milling with the new window trim and having all of that replaced versus trying to make a size that was too small fit into the opening. Each of these errors were handled professionally and without any financial impact to our family. I have been very satisfied with our new windows now that they have been installed these last 7 months. The windows look great, the trim matches wonderfully with our house's interior, and I would be happy to have them come back into our house for another project. Thank you MEI!

MN exteriors did our siding this past winter 2015. The whole thing took 2 weeks less time; they were fast, friendly, and punctual. I have no complaints. They even came back in the Spring to do another nail sweep.

We recently had MEI (Minnesota Exteriors Inc) do a full roof replacement on our 1917 bungalow in Minneapolis. The entire experience with MEI was excellent. Our first meeting with Dan (sales) was no pressure and he seemed most interested in answering our questions and making sure that we felt comfortable with the process, rather than selling us a roof. Dan had a thorough knowledge of the product line, warranties, financing, and scheduling. After we received our estimate from Dan, I had to contact him a few more times to ask some minor questions and each time he was prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable with his replies. The process of applying for the 12 months same as cash financing option was a breeze with the help of Dan and when we needed to delay the installation by a few weeks due to a personal circumstance the office team was great about that. The day of installation went off as planned, the roof looks great, and the clean-up was excellent. And as far as pricing goes, I felt that MEI was extremely competitive and was in line with the other estimates I received. I need to have some additional soffit work down at our home and MEI will be the ones I contact for that work. I was very satisfied with MEI and I will recommend them to anyone who is in need of a new roof.

MEI, Inc. had replaced all of the windows, fascia, soffit, and installed steel siding. Since they did an outstanding job, as a repeat customer, they worked at my current residence. The roof was replaced with architectural shingles and it turned out just fabulous! Job well done! I will continue to use them for any more future exterior work.

We recently had our windows and patio door replaced by Minnesota Exteriors Inc. We are very happy with our new windows. The installers were EXCELLENT! They did a great job and were very friendly. MEI really does windows right, we will definitely look at MEI first for any other home improvements we do in the future.

I recently contracted with MEI Exteriors to replace my roof, siding, painting of the fence, and building of a new roof for our porch. MEI was very professional, working with us at every stage of the insurance claims process, as well as providing us with a great value on additional work we bid out to them on the porch. The sales team was not pushy and the contract process was very personal and made me feel like we were doing business with the individuals at MEI vs. a large corporation. When it came time for the talk to become walk in the form of the work, we were also pleased with the results. The team worked with little breaks and got right to doing their jobs which was from sun up to sun down. After each night they carefully wrapped our home to protect the outside which was very beneficial because we had record rain fall during our project. The final results are a high quality roof and siding that covers our home and the new three season porch we added during this project. I recommend MEI to anyone that is looking for a great value that is not compromised in any way from start to finish.

During our recent old fashioned winter we determined that the gentle draft blowing through our house should no longer be ignored. I contacted several contractors to replace the windows and siding on our 63 year old house in St. Paul. MEI won our work with their professionalism, honesty and warrantee. The siding on our home was damaged by a hail storm in August 2013. Our Minnesota Exteriors rep walked us through the claim process with our insurance company and took care of the paperwork.

The installation crew did a great job, working in some very tough weather, to get the project completed. The siding looks great and we are very pleased with the result.

In December of 2013, I had Minnesota Exteriors replace all nine of my home's windows with vinyl Lindsay windows. I had first contacted MN Exteriors in January of 2013 to get a quote. It wasn't until November of 2013 that I actually decided to follow through and again contacted MN Exteriors. By this time, however, the salesman that I had dealt with in January had taken some type of personal leave, so I was put into contact with a different salesman. I thought that this was going to cause some troubles or delays, but the new salesman was very responsive. He suggested that he come out, and he basically redid my quote since I had some additional questions. He thought it best just to start over and be involved from the beginning so that we could work through it together, giving me the best chance of having the best windows for me. Both of my salesman were very friendly and helpful in deciding the best windows for me. I'm a young, single, new home owner with no window experience; their suggestions were helpful and appreciated.



After I put in my order and waited the few weeks to manufacture my custom windows, the installers came. It just so happened that the day of installation was during one of the extremely cold streaks with really bad roads. The installers braved the treacherous roads to come the day of my install. They were a little late, but, really, who can blame them? They put blankets down in the entrance way where they stored most of their gear and took shoes off when inside. It was a two man team with one outside and one inside. They moved quickly and were focused despite the terribly cold weather. They stayed a full day and managed to install all the windows. They cleaned up after themselves both inside and out, vacuuming wood shavings due to cutting out the old windows and picked up and hauled away all pieces of the old windows.



All-in-all, my Minnesota Exteriors' window replacement was a positive experience and have no set backs to speak of. I tested for any airflow around the newly installed windows during the extremely cold days when it was around -20 degs F and windy and couldn't feel a thing. I'd say they did a quality install. The new windows are so much better than my breezy, rotted, 27 year old wood windows. Not to mention, I was happy with costs, considering they handled everything from beginning to end, including scheduling and paying for the inspector. Everything was very convenient, done on time, and done well. If you're looking to replace windows, I recommend MN Exteriors.

Minnesota Exteriors, Inc. provided my family with an excellent experience from beginning to end. We had particularly great experiences with Kelly O'Brien, their knowledgable sales professional and Lorna Carlson, their customer service representative. My wife and I made numerous changes (we were rookies) to the color of the materials and the scope of the project. We were never met with any resistance and were only treated professionally and MEI was very responsive to our questions. We had a tight budget and MEI was willing to honor our limits. They never tried to pressure us into spending more than we could afford. Once we met Mr. O'Brien, it was immediately clear that he is a wealth of knowledge about the products and industry. He was willing to give us the time we needed to completely understand the process, time frame and cost. When the job was being performed, the workers were respectful of our property and offered to lend an extra hand with some of the prep work that was needed to get ready.



After the roof was put on, we realized that we should have taken an old basketball hoop down first. When we finally did, it left a gap in the trim where the hoop was covering. Without hesitations, MEI sent out a crew a few months later to touch it up. Now, It looks great.



In short, our experience with Minnesota Exteriors, Inc. exceeded expectations for quality and timeliness. I will use this company again and have recommended their services to my friends. Could not be happier. Thanks again, Kelly!

Had our siding, fascia, soffits and gutters done in Ocotber 2013. The salesman was very patient, helpful and knowledgeable about the siding we were looking at. The construction crew was very friendly and answered any questions we had. The customer support staff was easy to talk to and were willing to find out information about our questions immediately, instead of saying "We'll call you back". Thanks MEI! We would recommend them to anyone!



AND no, I'm not just doing this to earn money as another post said. MEI treats their customers to a great experience! PLUS, they actually told us to get other quotes because they want to make sure that their possible customer is happy with the price they are getting. Doesn't sound like a company that "buys" their customers and reviews.
