Blue Flame farms is a wonderful barn to belong to. We have boarded our horse here and participated in riding lessons for ten years. Unlike the previous reviewer that was only there for a very short time. To the extent that i had never met him. And clearly does not know what it means to be a“ barn family”. I could go into more detail, but this review is intended to express our rating of B.F. F. They have welcomed our family to their property with open arms. They love our horse as if it was their own. They take my daughter to lessons and shows throughout the state. The love they have for their animals is infinite. They teach compassion and hard work to all kids/adults that board here. Thank you for all the riding talent you have taught my daughter.

I have been taking lessons and boarding at Blue Flame Farms for years and it is the most wonderful facility. Not only do they care for and love all of the horses and other animals at the barn, they treat you like family too. It is a very amazing place to board and ride horses. They make sure all the animals are loved and cared for properly.

The absolute worst boarding facility in the Stark/Wayne County area. I caught them on numerous occasions not feeding the horses. On one occasion I had to go and buy feed myself to feed my horses. They became increasingly untrustworthy and unreliable to the point I had to go everyday to feed and turn my horses out, and clean their stalls. There was a 5 week period between August 1 -September 16 where there were no shavings for the stalls. Additionally one of my horses foundered due to grain overload. We discovered they weren't feeding horses as scheduled and would try to make up for it by feeding all at once. I incurred several vets bills due to their negligence and plain laziness.
They do not manage manure at all. It sits in a pile against the barn and is never removed. Add to that the number of roosters and chickens on the property leaving droppings on everything. The top floor of the horse barn literally has inches of bird droppings all over every surface. The entire property is poorly kept. Weeds aren't trimmed. Trash isn't picked up. They promised to provide round bales for the fall and winter, and even charged boarders for them, and never provided round bales. They are truly the laziest people i have ever encountered. Their horse experience is greatly exaggerated. No one should even give them a thought or waste a dime of hard earned money on them.
