My family and I went to Houligans about 6 wks ago. We got there and ordered drinks and an appetizer. Within 10 minutes of getting there my Husband, who has brain cancer began having a seizure. Before we even had a chance to ask for help your Manager James already had someone calling an ambulance for him. He also stood within arms length of our table just incase we needed something but also giving us enough distance to maintain my Husbands privacy. I am beyond appreciative for his professionalism and compassion! I was at a different establishment when this happened 1 other time. After having to demand the Manager to please call an ambulance he pulled me off to the side and told me, "I shouldn't be bringing my husband out in public if I know this "might" happen! That it is rude and inconsiderate to other customers!" I just wanted to thank your Manager James and all the other staff for being so kind and understanding in a very scary situation! Thank you, Michelle Spence.
Small Cafe style ,but Really good Food..!Been there a few times & going again. Yes yes ! Not the same old fast food lunch ,boring...Scallops were delicious.
Food was very good at reasonable price. Best clam chowder we had in this area. Our server, Marsha, was excellent.
Camo Dave's has the cafe in the back. It is called Maria's Key Lime Pies & Cafe. Apparently, they co-op together so she has the back half of the store. Anyway, you can get great jerky AND key lime pies, coffees, hot dogs and so much more.
I ordered the Island Paradise, the staff was super friendly everyone of them greeted me. My order came out after a short wait and it was cooked to perfection. I will definitely be going again.
The service was great. The view with outside seating next to the water is great. Unfortunately, the food was a huge disappointment, especially considering the high prices. The chowder was really thin. Maybe two potatoes. The gator bites were ok but very small and not very many. My grilled chicken was bland. I don't believe it was seasoned at all. Just tasteless. But what really got me were the mashed potatoes. Some sort of mixture of potato, brocholi and cheese? And they were a weird grey color. Even the waiter said they looked unappealing.
Fabulous place for fine dining; "classy" atmosphere and very attentive waitstaff. Food was delicious and very nice wine selection! Comparable to any fine restaurant in Boston !
This place is awesome! Food was great and our waitress Flo was out of this world! Would highly recommend this place!
Some of the employees at this location are EXTREMELY rude. I was ready to het a membership for my family after being pleased with the swim instructor. After being spoken to the way I was completely unprevoked I wouldn't recommend this institution to my worst enemy!
We plan on going back asap. The food was absolutely wonderful. We got the Colossal Nachos appetizer and we all agreed it was the best nachos we had ever had! I got the French dip sandwich, and, at the risk of sounding like a broken record, it was the best ever. :) My mom got the Cuban sandwich and loved it. No room for dessert unfortunately.... It was very busy when we were there and our waiter was just running back and forth and initially the service was not so good. But I know the waiter was doing all he could do! I highly recommend this restaurant. It was my favorite of all the restaurants we ate at on our Daytona Beach vacation. Five stars from me.
