Yesterday was the first time I had used this store and the last time I will. I am not sure how a business owner could treat customers the way the woman treated me. I walked in, my husband and daughter behind me, went up to the counter where no one greeted me, I said "hi" to the woman (owner) and smiled and she gave me the blankest, rudest look and completely ignored me, only to have her husband step in to take care of us. There was so much I wanted to say to her about her rudeness and customer service, and the only reason I did not was because my daughter was with me. I am half of the woman's age and I know better how to treat people and how to handle business. It reminds me to make sure I teach my daughter how to appropriately treat others.
I understand a business has to make a profit, but they charged me more than double the amount I would have paid if I printed a label at home. The receipt doesn't even show what I paid for just says ground shipping $48.75. If I had printed the label at home it would have only cost a little over $23.00. All the guy had to do was print a label, thats it, I had it packed and ready to be shipped. Lesson learned.
This location is located in the Doubletree Hilton Sea World, Store #6403. I walked in with a prepaid return and was told there was a handling fee. I said to myself okay I will pay a few bucks for the convenience. Then I was told the fee was $54 YES $54. All I did was hand the clerk a prepaid return he would have to scan and a UPS driver would pick it up. The $54 was more than I paid for the item and shipping. I went down the street to another UPS store and the clerk happily scanned the package for pickup at no charge. What the XXXX. Do not use this location there is another less than a mile away. Hotel guests don't get ripped off, call other stores for pricing. I have used many shipping vendors some in hotels and resorts and never was charged a so called handling fee. How can UPS let them get away with this?
This store is dishonest and fraudulent. Do not do business with. They will not use packing materials that they charge you for!! I can stress this enough. Stay far away. Unless you want your shipment damaged in transit.
I went in and the owner was incredibly rude. I asked a simple question and he was so condescending I was appalled! i think I will go out of my way not to use this location anymore!
The customer service at this store is horendous. I've not been a huge fan of the pricing but as the only option I'm sometimes forced to use this location. They are kind to each other and other customers but are often rude to me. I'm usually in a rush because I'm a busy person and they seem to be annoyed by it. I wish there were other options or that their service was a little more warm and gracious. If I'm going to pay $35 for copies and a fax I expect a little more kindness and patience.
The best place in town to do your mail! George is the sweetest, friendliest, most helpful person! I have a box for my business at George's and he signs for all my packages which is such a nice service! Everyone in town will tell you Grand Oaks is the best!
