Ditto the post below. PSI is a ridiculous company of overzealous security guards that show up to harass residents and their guests, but do absolutely nothing for crime. It's also true....they have zero authority to harass people. No one needs to identify themselves anywhere they go under normal, everyday circumstances, much less to walk in their own neighborhood. Also responsible for the problem, is the organizations that hire them when they take a hands-off approach to dealing with their security company. When any vendor is hired, they are supposed to take on burdens for the company; however, companies should still make sure that vendors are maintaining a level of customer service and service delivery standards. We hire security to provide security, not to run off residents, guests, or patrons of the business (who are actually the people that fund the security service in the first place).
