I think this is the one and only steak house that I know of (seeing as I grew up in the Orlando area) that is great for a birthday party young and old with excellent steak, just a nicesit down dinner with excellent steak and/or a romantic dinner with excellent steak. Did I happen to mention the excellent steak?!?!? Othere then that, I don't think I have been to any restaurant in Orlando that I went to when I was 5 and then again when I was 30 and half of the staff is still there and just as friendly now as they were when I was 5. Yes, I have been going to Linda's since I was about 5. My entire family (Grandfather, grandmother, 4 uncles, my mother, and about 4 friends of the family with their family members) and I have been going there every year at least 2xs a year if not more. There are not the perfect and complete words to explain how much my family and my self love Linda's LaCantina. I think that everyone should try it at least once! Thank you to the family and the staff at Linda's Arron Howard

The website says "We invite you to join us for what we promise will be Central Florida’s prime dining experience" and it's signed Carole and David Christner. The experience was unforgettable, but not in a good way. The food was good - the dressings are fresh and made in-house, the steaks were cooked as ordered, but the quality of the food did not equal the price. The rest of the experience was terrible. We had reservations, and yet they seated us in the bar. It was extremely loud - too loud for conversation, though a table of 12 near us tried to talk over the noise and added to the cacophony. Our waiter was always in a rush when he stopped at the table, as though he had too much to handle or perhaps we weren't important. There is an impressive list of awards on the website but it is difficult to accept that this restaurant earned all those awards. There are better places in Orlando to eat. I see no reason to waste time visiting this place.
I have only been there once for lunch, but I will return to check out the happy hour. The food was good and the prices are ok for the area. They offer a huge wine selection that can definitely compete with the Eola Wine Company. Spice's Happy Hour includes wines and some mixed drinks for $4 from 3 to 7pm and starts again at 9pm. The patio looked really nice and has an outside bar, fire place and great view of Lake Eola. Service was good, but they seemed a little overwhelmed with the lunch rush and forgot to seat us for a while since nobody had cleaned the tables. But give it a few more weeks and they will work out their little problems, they have only been open for less than two months...
This is a fantastic place to go in downtown Orlando. You will usually see my best friend and I walk around Lake Eola and then swing into SPICE from the back and enjoy apps and wine on the back patio. The views of the lake are second to none, and it's a great place to kick back and enjoy great conversation along with your favorite cocktail. Cocktails and beer are only $3 at happy hour I think, $4 for wine. But skip all that and try the Wente Reisling! Absolute perfection for the warm summer days!
We had our daughter's in laws baby shower here at Cafe Minera. It was AWESOME... We had a private room, the price was very reasonable, the food was absolutely delicious. The staff was gracious and very attentive. The room was cleaned and decorated including a music/ PA system included. Great buffet style and can't saw enough about the food, everyone had a great time. Highly recommended for small to medium parties (ours was 70 people) or just taking the wifey or girlfriend for lunch or dinner.
My family gets together and goes to Walt Disney World every two years. The Ponderosa Steakhouse is one place we dine at almost daily. Their breakfast buffet is one of the best. The price is great and the quality is terrific. The restaurant can easily accomodate large groups and has a variety of food and drinks to satisfy all taste buds. It's one place that we can all agree on. We plan to visit again when we travel to Orlando this year.
Food and service exceptional as it is in most Ruth Cris locations. The atmosphere is elegant but a little noisy. The food was perfect and the sides were substantial. The steaks were juicy and cooked to order. The wait service was professional and worth every penny. Cost is expensive and not for children but worth the price for a great steak dinner. They are also very accomodating to parties and were especially nice to my family.
A great choice for authentic Brazilian food and drink. Very reasonable, the staff was friendly and helpful. We were impressed by the way they went out of their way to accommodate us. We knew little about Brazilian food at first. Now we know we love it and a great place to go if you want to try it. We noticed alot of local Brazilian families there and considered that a good sign. Can't wait to go back.
One of the best Steak's in town I went there with my group. The best steak's we ever had. The quality of food is superb and the price range is not high. Their service is very great and fast. They took only 25 minutes to bring the order on our table. Staff is very kind, nice and helpful. The environment is very comfortable!! Thanks to Linda's that made our day!! You should also visit there.
I was introduced to Linda's La Cantina through a business associate many years ago. The steak is undoubtedly the best I have ever had. I live in NC and have actually gotten up very early on a Saturday morning and driven to Orlando, just to have dinner at La Cantina...it really is that good. I have recommended La Cantina to many of my friends, and they agree. Try it, you won't be sorry.
