My Costco delivery was shipped by YRC. The delivery guy, Gary AKA Bone was AMAZING! He called me when he was on his way to my home, as I had requested, so I could meet him there. He also waited for me to arrive, and he helped me, in the pelting down pouring rain, get my 550+ pound delivery item to a dry location, which I would not have been able to do without his help, considering the 4-wheeled hand truck I had purchased was too small to fit the pallet my order was on. Gary simply went well above and beyond all I could ask, and he was so courteous, helpful, kind, efficient, and just overall, Awesome! I could not have asked for a better delivery person. He deserves a raise and an extended paid vacation from YRC. Thank you for your immense help, Gary AKA Bone; you are a huge blessing!
I had a confirmed order for a truck to pick up this last weekend when I was called the day before and told by a very rude staff member that they did not have the truck I have confirmed but that an alternate location had one that was 10 miles away, at .99 a mile this amounted to an additional $20 on my bill for the rental. They would not give me a $20 credit for going out of my way to get a "Confirmed Order" , said it was only a "preferred location" for pickup. Corporate office was just as negative with $50 reservation guarantee, said that even though I had a confirmed order the guarantee did not apply because my location was "preferred". They lost a good customer to Penske because of their incredibly nasty attitude.
