We found RV Specialist when looking for a local place to get our RV fixed (after renting it out and the renter causing tons of damage... that's another story)La Mesa RV didn't have an opening until October! We decided to take a chance on a local place. Thank God we did! We will be going to Mike and his crew going forward. Our 2014 Winnebago had interior and exterior damage - we explained to Mike that we rent out our RV for an additional income and needed help ASAP. He did just that! He got our RV in and out in no time. He ordered all needed parts and started working on it immediately. He kept us updated on cost and what to expect. I see other reviews that he was rude or unprofessional, IF those are true... he must have learned from that experience, because we didn't get that from him at all. And our Winnebago is back to working condition and as nice as when we first bought it. Mike was able to fix small appliances that were broken inside to large dents and scratches on the exterior to getting rid of an extremely strong marijuana smell inside (again... renters.) Thank you Mike!
RV specialist is the worst place in the world. He is very unprofessional. When he breaks your things and you call him he is very rude. Everything was working fine until he came and touched our rv. Now we are having all kinds of problems. And he jus blames it on you if something goes wrong. Never go to him unless you want to have even more problems with your rv
Unprofessional communication. Seemed like a nice company when we were serviced originally. We had a leak coming in the front of our camper, and they told us we needed to totally reseal the roof. We did that, and then still had a leak. When I sent him a message about our leak, I got a very defensive message back saying that I had "ruined his entire Saturday" for simply telling him this. Also that I had a rotted roof and it would cost me 4-6K to fix. Not sure what this meant as we had only sent a message with pictures showing the leak and were simply looking for the next course of action. Anyway, after looking over the camper with someone else...we found the leak (right where the water was coming in) within about 15 seconds. A dab of silicon...and it was fixed. I am not sure if RV SPECIALIST INC knew this from the beginning or not....but does raise some eyebrows. This is not what upset us though because having our roof re-sealed was something we would needed to have done in the future anyway. We know that finding water coming into a camper can be difficult, but that is not what upsets us. The defensive texts at 11:30PM at night do. We were in no way upset about any of this until the odd communication we had. We thought we would simply take the camper back and we would look at it again to help us out. That obviously is not the protocol at RV Specialist Inc.I have attached images of my original email to him as well as the text we received. We decided to stop communications with him after this as we would not feel comfortable dropping off our RV at his place.
