I would not choose this company again if THEY paid ME. A horrible experience, from beginning to end.My wife is a night shift nurse in a NICU, so she sleeps during the day. Therefore, the one thing we asked of Wormley Roofing was that they work with us on scheduling the roof repair so that they could do it on a day when she didn't need to sleep. They assured us that they would. The day before my wife was to start a three night stretch, they called and said that they would be starting work the next morning. When we told them that we could not do that, their response was basically, "Tough luck, we're doing it anyway." (Paraphrased)So with less than one day's notice, my wife had to try to make arrangements to sleep somewhere else (which she was unable to do). They were unwilling to reschedule for even a few days later, and since they had been given clearance by our management company (we are renters), they were going to proceed whether we liked it or not. All this despite repeated assurances that they would work with us, or at least provide some advance notice. They did neither.There were two satellite dishes on the roof that they removed without warning (one of which was damaged beyond repair and had to be replaced at our expense) and were simply left dangling from the roof by their cables. The tarp that had been covering the chimney was left hanging from the side of the house. There were also discarded shingles left on top of our pool screen.To sum up, from our experience Wormley Roofing seems to be inconsiderate, inflexible, uncaring, sloppy, uncommunicative, and overall unprofessional. There are literally hundreds of roofing companies in the Orlando area. I HIGHLY recommend picking a different one, if you are lucky enough to have a choice.
We called DRS after the hurricane of September 2017 blew some shingles off our roof. Our Insurance Company had already completed their review of the damage inspection conducted by their claims adjustor. They suggested that we find a reputable contractor to "repair the damages" incurred during the hurricane. We contacted a few recommended roofing companies and chose DRS to complete the work needed. Shane arrived at our appointed time and inspected the damages to our roof. After his inspection, he recommended that we contact our Insurance Company and request that our "entire roof be replaced" because current Florida code requires that it be replaced if damages exceed 25% of the roofs square footage. We weren't aware of the Florida code and were surprised that the Insurance Company had not suggested this from the beginning. The Insurance Company was cooperative but needed additional information and confirmation that this was indeed Florida code requirements. I contacted DRS and Shane was very helpful in working with the Insurance Company and provided them all the information they requested. His assistance expedited the process and our Insurance Company replaced the entire roof leaving us to cover only the deductible. We waited patiently as our neighbors had their homes taken care of by other roofing companies. When our turn came to replace the roof, DRS had a crew of 12 people working to ensure it was done right. They were professional, quick, and completed it in less than 2 days. Our neighbors commented on the work, how many workers (versus 3 to 6 on their projects), the quickness of the job, and results of all their work. We've worked long and hard for our home and are proud of it. The fact that DRS understood that and insured that we received their best, makes our choice that much more meaningful.My wife and I would not hesitate to recommend DRS for your roofing project and I put that in writing.
This company has been the worst experience that I have ever encountered they came by after the storm promising me that my roof would be replaced. After signing paperwork I have had to be the one to call and ask what is going on with the installation and it takes more than 3 mails and many text messages for Julie to answer back and lets not even talk about the office personnel. Here we are in December and no roof and they have received already 2 checks from the insurance company and have cashed them. Now what I am getting is the run around that they don't have the materials and that the owner has not answered back yet on the installation of my roof. I would not recommend anyone doing business with this company as they don't care about the customer but the money. They were notified over a month ago that the tarp came off the roof and stated they would send someone and till this day no one has even went by the home. I am really disgusted with the poor ethical skills that they have towards their customers.
I wish you could give 0 stars because that is what they would receive. They by far were not the least expensive so you would think that their workmanship would be top notch; boy were we wrong. Took over 3 months to complete our roof and failed inspection twice. As mentioned in the previous comments, they left nails, trash and empty beer cans laying around. They left fully cracked decking boards, gaps between decking boards, insufficient nails on shingles, used untreated wood to replace facia board, etc. Very unprofessional, rude and unsupervised workers. Do not waste your time or you will wind up paying in the long wrong. Our roof is 1.6 old and we have leaks. Stay away!
Ron from RBS stopped by tonight after inspecting a neighbor's roof. I had lost a few shingles after hurricane Irma and was having a hard time finding a roofer to come to do this minor repair. Ron not only inspected my roof on a moment's notice, but replaced the missing shingles as well. I am beyond impressed with Ron and RBS. A true and honest professional. I highly recommend this company.
Hodges Brothers installed a new shingle roof on my house. After they told me the roof was completed I was treated to a strong smell of mold in my house. I soon noticed streaks on my outside wall where water would run down from under the eaves when it rained. I went up to my attic and found water intrusion in the attic.After 2 return visits by Hodges Brothers and after I had removed the insulation from the attic, I found that the house showed water intrusion under the eaves for the entire 25’ section. I informed Harrison of this via text. He did not get back to me. I phoned him early the next week and he informed me that he had received the text but had not bothered to respond. He said that the leak was not coming through the roof but rather through the soffit where the water would run off the roof, down the flashing onto the fascia and along the bottom of the soffit into the house. He went on further to say this was not their problem. I disagree. I feel that a competent and professional builder would do what is necessary to ensure that their roof worked properly with the fascia and soffit and that there would be a functioning drip edge. At the very least, they would have foreseen the water leak and informed me before the work was finished. We are now going on the 4th week of water intrusion. The smell remains and my dog is getting sick. I conclude that the wood construction of the house is now moldy and mold remediation will be necessary. I can no longer wait for Hodges Brothers to take responsibility for their work and have taken care of this myself. It cost me less than $150 to have someone come out and install a proper drip edge. That is a minor cost that should not have presented any complications to an ethical roofing company. In an attempt to speak to someone other than Harrison, I have placed a call to their home office and am waiting for them to respond. I have now been waiting all week and do not believe they will respond to me.

I had their number through a friend, hired them to deal with some water damage in my brother's apartment. They were nice and solved the problem relatively fast.
Was hired to do our home roof and porch roof due to hail damage. Signed a contract which was an AOB, which means assignment of benefits. Bad mistake that was, They got paid ahead of time by the insurance company and you do not have control of what materials etc that they use. Signed contract on March 3, 2016 and as of Oct they were not done. I reported them to the DBPR and they opened a case on them. The roof inspection failed and it took another 2 months to get them to get it passed. Never did the porch roof that they got paid for. Finally after threatening to take them to court they refunded the money owed. If you are smart you will Stay Away from this incompetent company.
10 years after he installed our roof it still looks brand new, & he inspects it yearly. He had the best estimate out of 5 better known roofers. Required no money until it. was done & inspected. We're very very pleased
