The Village At Science Drive

I second what Ryan said! Science drive is pretty awesome....I've never had any complaints about the staff or felt mislead....

I disagree completely with the review below...when I signed my lease it was pretty straightforward and verbatim but I can understand how someone could get confused just looking for housing in the Orlando market period. Living here has been great, love the location, room sizes and proximity to campus.

To all parents, stay away from The Villages and their affiliated properties. These people used high-pressure sales tactics on my son. They pressured him to sign a "hold" on an apartment for fear they were selling out fast. They told him that his hold could be released for $250 if he decided against living there. The paperwork he actually signed was the full lease agreement, not only a hold as the leasing agent described to my wife over the phone.



When my son decided he wanted to live with some friends elsewhere, suddenly the story changed and they refused to release him saying "Your son is of legal age and he signed a lease, if he defaults, it will count against his credit rating." Then, they asked us to co-sign for his lease! The only help they offered was to put him on a list of students wanting to sub-lease the apartment, but they would only refer other students to this list if they sold out completely (which never happened).



So we were stuck with the lease and my son lived there for a year. It was costly and he was unhappy. Please don't make the same mistake we did and stay away from these lying, predators.
