Over fifteen months have passed since my sisters death and yet no marker on the grave. The family gravesite already had a blank granite marker on her grave so all SD had to do was engrave her name and birth/death dates. They picked up the stone immediately and created the sample of what would be engraved. We've not heard from them since. Phone calls: you have to leave a message and no one ever calls back. You stop by to see the mgr, Shane. He's never there. You ask the other employees to have him call. It never happens. We are STILL waiting. I spoke with staff at the Cemetary . Every one said our experience is the norm from SD. They highly recommended we pick up the marker and take it elsewhere. I'm in the process of doing that.
After my mother passed at the end of January we went to Superior Design to order a bronze marker. The manager, Tim, was pleasant enough and was thorough in his explanation of the cost and product. We paid in full and were told it would be 6-8 weeks which was fine with us. As we appraoched the expected date I began to start calling to see whn the marker would arrive. I was given the standard run around of any day now, the bronze company is behind, all which sounded good at the time but in hindsight was ALL excuses. We were now getting into May and I wanted to make sure my mothers marker was there for Mothers Day which I was assured that it would be. WRONG!! The marker showed up at the end of the month and to make matters worse it was not the same one we ordered. SD tried to say that it was a mistake we made but upon informing them I received no refund for the change to the marker they admitted they made the mistake. I was told that they would replace the marker since it was there mistake and it would take another 4 weeks. This was in June, now we are in September and there is still no sign of the correct marker. Once again I am told that it will be here the 7th of this month but I am not holding my breath. I can only hope that this will be resolved soon so that I will never have to deal with these crooks again. If you are thinking about it DONT walk away.....RUN.

went to the office of the cemetary and they told me i neeed to contact them which i did the manager told me he had the picture but was needed to be sent to Canada and that it will take approx. 3 weeks so i waited anither week went to my sister's grave still no picture so i called to see what was happening he said the received it but can't go out there to work because of the weather it has been raining which is understandable so i waited another 2 weeks still no PICTURE called the company again and wad told that they were putting the picture on the stone on Thursday i go Friday afternoon STILL NO PICTURe call AGAIn he told me they would go this week and nothing has been done yet . so i called one last time and the MANAGER explained to me that the workers are on their way to lace the picture no i go back to the cemetary hoping the picture is up and it's NOT so now i'm fed up i go to the office of the cemetary and theey were as surprised as i am asking "why this hasn't been fixed yet" they told me they ere going to contact him and see what is going on it has been a week and i haev been calling them and get no Answer i would love for this to be done by the holidays due to the death was 2 weeks before christmas and it is true what the other review explains you would think they would be helpful at situations like this what if something like this was to happen to them we put alot of money into this headstone and they are just keeping us on the round around . i thought they would be helpful to their custimers but i guess NOt.!!!

We were recommended Superior Design by the company that performed funeral svc for my mother. We met with office mgr & placed order in early Oct & promised a grave marker btw Thanksgiving & Christmas, however definitely by Christmas. There was an understanding that we needed the marker completed by Christmas as out of town family mbrs would be visiting. Thanksgiving came & went with no contact from SD & we made our 1st contact during the wk of Christmas to inquire the status. We were told that shipping of materials had been delayed so production of marker was delayed. We were told marker should be finished by New Years. New Years came & went & I went out to my mother's site - no marker. A family member called SD & was told it would be another 2 wks. Again, there was delay, not explained, but told another 2 wks & it would be installed. 2 wks went by & I was out at my mother's site - no marker. This time, I called & spoke with office mgr. She seemed rather unconcerned with my complaint. I asked what the holdup was, she stated marker would be installed in another 2 wks, I asked why we weren't contacted to which there was no response, then asked to be called if it was NOT completed in 2 wks, she said fine, was ready to hang up & did not even have my ph #. When she went to hang up, she stated would call me when it WAS installed, which is clearly not what I asked. I never received call from her to this day. I handed over to another family mbr b/c mentally, I could not take it. They had my money, I could not get refund & we were now into Feb. when I had been promised Dec at the latest. We finally got our marker but if you don't mind broken promises, lack of communication, all around poor cust svc, then this is your place. My mother's death was tragic but this aggravated the grieving process. I would expect a busn to call when there are delays, & regarding something so close to the heart, you would think a busn would be xtra sensitive, but I guess I thought wrong
