I've been in to see Dr. Pirozzolo at OHSA before, but this time was for my hand. Recently, I had issues opening my palm fully, turns out it was trigger finger. I was hoping I didn't need surgery, and know Dr. Pirozzolo would be honest with me. Luckily, he said an injection to help with the release should do the trick! It was pretty fascinating to watch. I was numbed a bit, then using an ultrasound, he was able to see where the needle was going to put the solution in. It was painless and almost immediately after I was able to open and close my palm. Thank you again and highly recommend anyone to see Dr. Pirozzolo and stop putting off your pain!
Dr. Jason Pirozzolo was awesome. I noticed that my left elbow was hurting every time I extended it and only being in my 30’s, I wasn’t alright with that. I don’t play sports, but do go to the gym and use weights and machines. Dr. Pirozzolo is so well versed in sports medicine and that he has a strength/conditioning specialty, he knew that it was just the start of tennis elbow. Thankfully it’s feeling better due to his advice on not lifting with it for a while, and instead just doing some gentle exercises. No injection needed at this time unless it keeps hurting – happy a doctor was so honest!
Recently, May14th, I had surgery for a, too long neglected, Cancerous Tumor. It was located in the shoulder on my upper back. The surgery was performed by Anup Patel who discussed the problem about a week before the surgery was scheduled. He was quite thorough as to what had to be done and the potential size of the cancerous tumor. Dr. Patel also pointed out that there may be a large incision and indentation (hole) once the tumor was removed. Dr. Patel took all of the precautions necessary while removing the Fungating Cancer. The surgery took about 4 – 5 hours and evidently went along great to say the least. During the operation Dr. Patel had to reconstruct the area at the same time replacing the “Flap” that would be the surface skin, closing the wound. During the surgery Dr. Patel indicated that he had to temporarily move my back muscles so he could get all of the tumor. The muscles were all replaced. The approximate size of the tumor was 3 cm x 5 cm with 1.5 cm on margins. During the operation, I understand because I was asleep, there was about 4 or 5 other doctors observing and monitoring the procedure. Today I am happy and satisfied with the results.
When I was given the sedatives to knock me out, I laid down and thought for a few seconds. Nothing scary, just how content I felt about what was going to happen and all of the confidence I had placed in Dr. Patel. Needless to say, my confidence was not shaken!

Was so thankful to find a doctor like this when I was in a crunch, Dr. Pirozzolo was awesome. Visiting from out of state and I fell and hurt my wrist when I was at the beach. I put ice on it and figured it would be okay. Later that night it was bruised and started swelling and was getting more painful. My aunt had visited Orlando Hand Surgery Associates and Dr. Jason Pirozzolo before and recommended I see him before heading back home. He confirmed that I had fractured it with X-rays, but luckily he thought I may heal over 2-3 months with my cast and a splint. He had me in and out of there in no time and I was able to enjoy the last few days of vacation.
Having just turned 60, I'm appreciative that my shoulder hasn't given me any pain since I visited Dr. Jason Pirozzolo at Orlando Hand Surgery Associates. I've played golf most of my life, until I started feeling a singe of pain in my shoulder. It even made lifting up my arm to give hugs uncomfortable. Dr. Pirozzolo knew immediately it was shoulder bursitis, he listened to me whine that I didn't want surgery, and told me that he could help with my inflammation and pain by simply giving me a cortisone injection into the shoulder. Later that day, after leaving his office, I helped my wife put away groceries onto shelves that a couple days prior I would not have been able to lift my arm up to. Amazed at how it worked, thank you Dr. P!
I played sports in high school and college, but never thought I would be having aches or pains when I hit 30. I went in to Orlando Hand Surgery Associates complaining about wrist pain, very sure I did not want to have surgery, and met with Dr. Jason Pirozzolo. He was awesome, very knowledgeable and specialized in sports medicine, so I knew I was in good hands. He determined it was wrist tendonitis. I was so happy when he told me that all I needed was a cortisone steroid injection to help with pain and inflammation. Dr. Pirozzolo gave me the shot and I’m feeling so much better, no pain. Would highly recommend him to friends.
I cannot thank Dr. Jason Pirozzolo and the staff at OHSA enough! I lived for an entire year ignoring the pain in my elbow. I figured it was old age and would need surgery eventually, but Dr. P gave me a cortisone injection and now one week later I feel good as new. Their wait room is usually very busy, but the staff makes it flow smoothly and I’ve never waited longer than 5 minutes to be taken back. I’ve never felt so welcomed at a doctors office!
Dr. Jason Pirozzolo is my favorite doctor! I’ve seen him a couple times for various aches, but this time I went in because my wrist was driving me crazy. The last thing I wanted to do was have surgery, so I paid Dr. Pirozzolo a visit. He knew right away it was carpal tunnel, gave me a cortisone injection in my wrist, and later that day all of the pain had subsided! If you want to avoid surgery and want a professional that knows what he’s doing to help you, Dr. Pirozzolo is the man for the job.
I took my son to Dr. Jason Pirozzolo after he fell of his bike and fractured his forearm. Dr. Pirozzolo is knowledgeable and was amazing with him when he casted his arm. My son was all smiles and excited to pick out his own cast color. Dr. Pirozzolo and his staff were all very caring and as a father I appreciate that greatly. I would highly recommend Dr. Pirozzolo and Orlando Hand Surgery Associates to anyone!
