- Orange County Parks & Recreation operates more than 90 parks, facilities and trails. It administers various after-school programs for elementary and middle school aged students. The department hosts athletic special events, such as baseball, soccer, football, softball, hockey, and track and field. Orange County Parks & Recreation provides amenities, including hurricane shelter, boat ramp, swimming pool, dog park, fitness trail and golf practice facilities. Its boat ramp parks include Barnett Park, Moss Park, Fern Creek Boat Ramp, Fern Creek Boat Ramp and Bywater Boat Ramp. The department supports recreational programs in Marks Street Senior Recreation Complex and Roosevelt Nichols Park. Orange County Parks & Recreation is a part of the Orange County Government in Florida.
