I am very impressed with Dr. Zikra. She has caught issues that another of my physicians didn't notice and it was a very serious one. Dealing with Medicare is painful for all and I have needed things done which she has always attended to quickly. I very much depend on her for assistance . Under her care my A1c has been the best ever (6.6) for this old type I.

Worth the 45 minute drive! I came from another office that gave you a run around for your money and it also included rude staff. That said, Dr. Zikras office was a completely different experience right out of the the gate. Dr. Zikra and her staff are extremely friendly, warm and caring towards the patients. Very up front, no run around, or unnecessary visits. For people who need to see an endocrinologist on a regular basis or for a lifetime for that matter...being able to see a doctor that truly is going to do what's best for you (and not break the bank) is most important. I would highly recommend Dr. Zikra and her staff!

Dr. Maha Zikra and her staff are considered on my personal point of view as a special group of professionals who always care and listen their patients at all times since I started back in 2004. I highly recommend Dr. Zikra without any reservations. If you are looking to work with a good Dr. to help you get to your goal in your sugar levels you got the right Dr. Zikra and her Staff is the one.

Dr. Zikra and her staff, to me, exemplify what the patient experience should be. Dr. Zikra (and staff) demonstrate an understanding that people are the heart and soul of a medical office. This is conveyed by their kindness, sincerity and competence in delivering services to patients.

As a person Dr. Zikra is warm, friendly, and sincere. She routinely demonstrates these qualities in dealings with her patients as well as in her interactions with her staff. She genuinely treats all people kindly and respectfully.

Dr. Zikra demonstrates a command of current knowledge in explaining my condition and treatment that gives me feelings of confidence and well being. Dr. Zikra explains facts carefully and fully. She listens carefully to questions. Her responses provide information while at the same time allaying apprehensions.

Dr. Zikra’s Physician Assistant, Ann brings with her no less the friendliness and competence of Dr. Zikra. She is cordial, patient, careful and thorough.

Dr. Zikra has as fine a staff as you are likely to find. Without exception each is welcoming, friendly and competent in their duties. The staff appears to work cordially together even while not in the presence of the Doctor. She has assembled a staff of good people who do good work in meeting patient needs.

Dr. Zikra sets the tone for her office and her staff reflects that positive attitude in their attention to and dealings with her patients.

I love me some Dr. Zikra!! She is the only one that has ever gotten my A1C down at any level!! She is very professional and always on the ball with the care she provides!! Iv lose over 2o lbs due to her guidance. If your looking for a great doctor to manage you diabetes Dr. Maha Zikra and her staff is a great choice. They ALL make you feel special.

Dr. Zikra is Awesome. She is very knowledgeable and well caring person. I love the family atmosphere at the office and love her Office Manager. She helped my husband get off insulin and his sugar never been this good. She regulated my sugar too and helped me lose 20 lb. what else we can ask for. Love Dr. Maha.

When I first visited Dr. Zikra, I was in bad shape. She performed the correct tests and prescribed the correct medicine. I am feeling much better. I highly recommend her. She is kind and knows her medicine.

I been a patient of Dr. Zikra for about two years she is knowledgeable, friendly, and most importantly she cares about the wellbeing of her patients. The office staff is wonderful and the wait time to see the doctor is very short. I recommend Dr. Zikra to all my friends.

The doctor is wonderful, unfortunately, her staff..in particular her front desk/office manager is extremely rude and curt. Since she is your first point of contact, it makes it difficult to have a smooth visit in the office...and if she is not happy, she makes sure no one is. Of course, she will take her personal issue out on the client and make you wait in the waiting room for an excessive amount of time before being allowed to pass to the inner realm.

She is a woman that does not need to work with the public. I have changed doctors due to this front desk/office manager.

First I would like to say that 5 stars is not enough for this wonderful office. A Dr.s office is one place that most people feel anxious in, but I did not at all in this office. From the moment you walk in you know that this office is one of the best in all Orlando. The staff are friendly and professional and very sincere. I have been to many dr.s offices in my time and usually I am met with a dry nonchalant attitude, but NOT HERE, everytime I go in I am greeted with a smile and treated with respect. The reception area is always clean and organized and I have never had to wait an egregious amount of time to be admitted. I really appreciate not only my dr. but also the staff. When I come in they take the time to go around the counter to personally hand me the paperwork to sign in because it is hard for me to reach on my own. They are really considerate and don't treat me like just another number on the list. I would highly recommend this office to anyone and as long as my health requires it I will go there.

I have been Dr. Zikra's patient for 9 years and I know all of the staff by name. She is an excellent doctor and I cannot recommend her highly enough. I went to all of the endocrinologists in Orlando but none helped me as much as she did. She always takes her time with me and explains as well as answers all of my questions. The office manager is the sweetest lady and is willing to help no matter what. I have recommended many of my friends to Dr. Zikra and all of them have been pleased with her service and level of knowledge. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone. I am a brain cancer survivor who has been fighting many health issues as a result of my treatment. I called the office of Dr. Zikra because I needed refills to be sent to my mail order pharmacy. At first they told me that I needed to come in to pick up the scripts and mail them away. I explained to them that I was not able to drive there and they then said that I had to have my pharmacy fax them a list of scripts which needed refills. The pharmacy did that on a Friday. On the following Monday, they did not hear from them so they refaxed it to them. The pharmacy followed up and was told that it had been received. On Tuesday, they still had not heard from the Dr. so they called me. I called the office and explained that my drugs needed to be mailed out as soon as possible and that these scripts were holding them up. The office manager was very nasty and said that I was accusing her of lying. She said that the fax had only been just sent over from the pharmacy. What she did not know was that there was another person in the office who said on Tuesday that it had been received that day. But the office manager insisted that it was not.

Today I received a letter from the Dr. stating that they were releasing me as their patient and would not see me again.

Is it that we are now not allowed to question the staff? Who do they think they are and what kind of Dr. releases a patient for doing so?
