We have brought multiple generations of our dogs and cats to Dr Porter during the 12 years he has been practicing here. He and his staff are caring, friendly, helpful, compassionate and professional in their dealings with us. Porter and his staff and all that they have done for me and my babies but there is one story that tells it all. When Taz; my youngest yorkie lost his human father to a heart attack and in less than a year his two sisters(4 legged) passed he became very confused and his behavior challenging. Dr. Porter saw this immediately and the stress I was under and he and all his staff stepped in and became our extended family. They would call to check up on not only Taz but me too. This is going above and beyond what is expected from them. So the words I would use to describe Dr. Porter and the staff would be professional, dedicated, caring and compassionate.They are above the best.

Dr. Porter and his staff provide outstanding service to the Conway community. They are friendly and quite knowledgeable about a multitude of animals. When in need of a specialist, Dr. Porter will refer you to the appropriate practice. They have a great kennel service as well.

It has taken me 25 years to find a vet in Orlando that I can trust to give my dogs the best care. Dr. Porter is not only an exceptional and knowledgable vet but is one that is always eager and willing to learn. I have found him to be open to new and different ideas, and he never hesitates to consult with and work with other vets when the need arises.



Dr. Porter's love for animals is very evident and his compassion and understanding of their owners in outstanding. He has helped me through breedings, caring for litters and through the illnesses and deaths that eventually comes with sharing our lives with animals.



Dr. Porter's staff is wonderful and the little things they do, the cards, phone calls...are just one of the many reasons for returning to Conway Veterinary Hospital.

Where would we be without Conway Vets? We raise CCI (Canine Companion for Independence) puppies and often have a new puppy. Dr. Porter and his staff have walked us though many problems as each puppies has their own set of issues. In so doing, Dr. Porter has created an environment where not only do the puppies want to return often, but I look forward to going to the vet. We adopted Bumper, our huge black lab, back in January 2004. At that time, Bumper was 12 weeks old. He was a sick puppy with all kinds of health-related issues. We took our pet to Conway Vet. Hospital as soon as we got home from the animal shelter. I immediately witnessed Dr. Porter's evident love for animals. He and his staff took care of Bumper and in a few days he was the happiest puppy I had ever seen. Bumper is now 6 years old and this "gentle giant" as Dr. Porter calls him, has grown to become a healthy and adorable 110 lb pet.



I am sure that any other professional with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree would have helped solve Bumper's health problems as a puppy, but the loving care, patience, and compassion which can only come from within the heart that we experienced from Dr. Porter is something that I still remember and appreciate. Actually, when I take Bumper to Conway Vet. he acts like it was "doggy-Disney." He gets excited with joy to see all the staff and they have always treated Bumper like their own pet.



I love animals, especially dogs and wolves (which of course, I could not keep one of those home!) and I have always recommended Conway Vet to all my friends. My name is Teri Warren and I have used Conway Veterinary Hospital since the first time I met Dr. Porter. It has been many years now and he has treated all our animals. You have found the best people and place for the care of your pet at Conway Veterinary Hospital. The people are friendlier, the facility is fully equipped for efficient medical tests, and very clean. I have used the services of many other doctors, but have never found one as good as Dr. Porter. Dr. Porter is one of the most conscientious veterinarians I have ever taken my pets to. He and his staff care for all six of my dogs I am always able to get an appointment in a timely manner and seen quickly all my questions are answered in a manner I understand. I know if I call with a question I will always get a call back by either the staff or Dr. Porter himself.
