This salon is without a doubt the best in expertise with color, cutting and styling. I couldn't recommed a better salon in all of Orlando when it comes to their capability!!!! All employess have displayed great results in whatever service they provide hair, eyebrows, product recommendation...etc. My only constructive criticism would be the high pressure to buy the products and in salon hair treatments. Let me first say I have used the hair products and had the treatments and they are excellent and again the top of the line. However, not everyone can afford $30 shampoos, conditioners, styling gels and hair treatments. I would like for it not to make an uncomfortable moment in my salon experience. If they are willing to work with those that can afford the experience to a certain point this is a wonderful place to maintain your hair.

The person who had been doing my hair is no longer at the salon I was going to and I don't know how to find her, so I browsed through city search and found Alexander Hairdressing. I called this morning and asked for an appointment and could get in today. Dante cut my hair. He consulted with me beforehand and when I was telling him the length I wanted, he even pointed out the length of his last client who was leaving. I agreed , but said just a touch shorter than that. I said I wanted my hair to rest on my shoulders. Well it DOESN'T rest on my shoulders. It just touches them. When he was finished, he asked me how it was and I told him what I am telling you. He then went on to tell me that it WAS resting on my shoulders. (too bad I can't post a picture on here) He also asked what I wanted him to do. Well, you can't put it back. Now I have to wait for it to grow. Thanks. So he says next time he'll leave it longer. Next time? Then I go to pay-- the least he can do for doing what I didn't want is give me a break on the cost, it shouldn't have cost me anything, really. Instead he charged me $63.00. My biggest mistake was leaving a meager tip. I just shouldn't have left anything. I didn't even get an apology from him. I left and cried in my car. Every time I catch my reflection I want to cry. Now that I've been able to look at it and play with it and see what I can do with it, I can honestly say I hate it. I feel like I got ripped off. $63.00. Are you kidding me?

I read the reviews before making an appointment to go see Debbie so I was prepared for a really hard sell and somewhat annoying personality. Let me tell you that is a HUGE understatement! While I was in need of new cut, the overall service is not one that I would recommend. Debbie was running 45 minutes late which was annoying but the least of my problems. She spent two hours on my hair and while I am happy with my cut (it's cute but average) the two hours of her PUSHING her products was enough to make me really annoyed. She says that she 'tells it like it is' but I personally think she lacks the basic social skills to understand pleasant conversation. I like a hairstylist who can gossip and you can share a few good laughs with!\n\nAs I mentioned above, my cut is cute. The back looks nice and the layers are decent. However my bangs are totally uneven and I am having to go to another salon to fix this. Debbie charged $90 for the cut, and she also charged an additional $12 for the 2 inches of hair in the front that she flat ironed. You should be forewarned that I felt some pressure to tip from her receptionist when I was checking out. Please know that you are NOT expected to tip owners!!\n\nAll in all, not the worst cut I've had, but I personally don't think it was worth $102. If you do decide to make the jump and let Debbie cut your hair, I would recommend earplugs while you are in her care.

I went to see Sara for the first time this past summer and have been back ever since. She always has a smile on her face and it makes me feel happy to walk into an atmosphere where everyone in the salon is so friendly and attentive. Each time I have seen Sara, she does something a just little different with great results! I just sit back and relax, knowing I will walk out with a great cut! To have that confidence in your hair stylist is a good thing. She is also very good with color highlights! I would highly recommend Sara.

Easily the best haircut I've had on any coast. Stop convincing yourself that the Hair Cuttery is doing you men any favors and pony-up the extra scrilla so these savagely talented women can save you from further embarrassment. Run to Jessie.\n\nOnly God, my dear,\nCould love you for yourself alone\nAnd not your yellow hair.\n-W.B. Yeats
Alexander Hairdressing is a wonderful, friendly salon. Muniza is a talented stylist. She consistently gives me a great looking haircut. Every six weeks, I get a Kerastase treatment . It leaves my hair feeling and looking good. I have recommended Alexander Hairdressing to all my friends! Bravo to Debbie and the entire team for giving clients that ""Know How""!

I absolutely love coming in to get my hair done at Alexander Salon. The atmosphere is so inviting and the girls always know when I come in I want a cappuccino to sip on while I get my color done. It's these little thing that make their customer service unparalleled. \n\nThe owner Debbie is so detail oriented when cutting and highlighting my hair. She's amazing as she snips away and blends the most beautiful colors into my hair. I can't tell you how many compliments I get throughout the year. Debbie is so knowledgeable about hair health, and she educates you so you know how to maintain your hair after you leave. Her staff is so friendly and I always look forward to going in and getting my hair done.\n\nThank you guys so much! You are the BEST!!!\n- Anne-Marie

Have you ever left a salon looking dynamite only to find that you look terrible as soon as you have to wash and style your own hair? That doesn't happen at this salon. The attention to detail in this salon is unsurpassed. I have the best hair & hairstyle of my life and I spend less time on my hair then in the past. The precision cut falls in to place without too much fuss. Consulting on proper products and techniques is greatly appreciated.
