When my washing machine broke, I called Willard Appliance around 8 a.m. and a mechanic showed up at 9:30. He determined the pump had seized, replaced it right then, got the washer running and left. An hour later the washer seized up again, so the mechanic came right back and determined that the motor had burned out since it had been trying and trying to run the seized pump. He replaced the motor with a discounted one and no additional labor cost, got the washer running, and left. A few hours later I discovered that it had seized up yet again, so they came back right away, took my washer and left me with a loaner, which I've never heard of anyone doing and was a very nice gesture (especially since I would have otherwise had a soaking wet load of laundry to lug to the laundromat). They finally diagnosed the problem with my washer, which was going to be more costly to fix than it was really worth and more than I'd want to put into it, and gave me the option of just keeping the loaner washer they left me with for the price I'd already paid for the repairs or using it towards another washer, which seemed like a generous deal to me. So overall, after my experience with them I'd say they're prompt, friendly, and genuine and I'll definitely call them next time I need work done!
Eddy is hands down the real deal. His website is straightforward and so is he. His site info is also what he tells you on the phone; service charge/visit fee is rolled into his price if he can fix the problem. He writes his guarantee/warranty for parts and labor on the receipt when he performs a repair. I called him after hours (5:30pm or thereabouts on a weeknight) describing my trouble and the make of my refrigerator. He arrived within 45 minutes, diagnosed a bad relay, had the part with him and had my fridge repaired and up and running before the stuff in the freezer had time to break into a serious sweat. Total cost to me: $150 and he was on his way and out the door by 7:30pm. Courteous, polite, knowledgeable, Eddy was WELL worth the chance taken on a blind call to him after a Google search for appliance repairs in the Orlando area. And that call was certainly much less time, money, and effort for me to make it in comparison to shopping for a new fridge. I would HIGHLY recommend Eddy be your appliance repair authority. If his site doesn't list your brand or you fear he might be out of your service area, call him anyway, he'll give you the straight scoop. Thank you, Eddy, you're a peach!!
I recently purchased my new washer, a Speed Queen, after doing much research. Having determined the machine I wanted I searched for dealers locally who carried this model. Five appliance dealers in the greater Orlando area sell and service this model. I phoned three with Willard being 3rd on my list. After a lengthy and enjoyable conversation with Gene, I purchased my washer over the phone and had it delivered two days later. I stopped in their store on my way home after having another wonderful conversation with Gene and (maybe) his mother? Such great folks and when the time comes for that new dryer, I will be contacting them as well. As for the Speed Queen, I LOVE it! It has replaced my (30 yr) old Kenmore washer and is doing a fine job. Less water, short wash time, saving on laundry detergent and also saving on drying time do to the washer spinning the clothes much better than my wore out machine. Thank you Willard Na thank you Speed Queen!
I have had an excellent experience at Willard Appliance; they solved a difficult problem quickly and at a very low price. Specifically, my GE microwave was sparking for no discernable reason. the Willard team completely cleaned the unit and quickly determined no parts were faulty. This mystery was solved when Willard's seasoned experts realized the contractor who built the home had put on the wrong food-holding plate -- a model that contained lead in the glass! Willard loaned me a proper ceramic plate until my new plate arrived. The only way this situation could have been rectified was by an experienced team with an eye for detail and a determination to provide customer service. Thank you Willard!
I used this service company to come and look at my refrigerator. It stopped cooling properly and being full of food I was panicing. The repair man came out the same day I called and assured me he would take care of the problem. He looked at the refigeratpr and explained the problem to me. He said it needed a part and he did not hve the part but their part wharehouse did. He said he would go get the part and be back out later that afternoon. The repair man showed up again and fixed my rerigerator. I am so thankful to have my refrigerator working properly and so greatful to the repair man he did everything he told me he would do. Great job.
Had a terrific experience today at Willard. Was a first time customer looking for a small replacement part for my dryer. Was totally impressed how MOM FRIENDLY this place is. If you are looking for a place that doesn't lead with will your husband be helping you little lady this is the place. They are full service but can get you whatever you need and are terrific when your inquisitive kid asks a millions questions... Thanks for a wonderful first experience. I will absolutely make this my first stop whenever we need service for anything in our home and will tell our friends. The fact it is conveniently located on Corrine is terrific too!
Been using A1 Heat and Air here in Orlando for about 20 years and never had any problems with them. So far they have replace 2 full 4 ton in/out a/c units in my home and other than a few glitches all went very well. The last one was an Amana 2 stage compressor and variable inside fan. This last one was put in exactly 1 year ago and I have not called them once since I had no problems with the unit. Compared to the year before I have saved $518 from the 12 months of bills I paid in 2012. I always got quick service in the past and hopefully that is still true. BBB still says they meet BBB accreditation standards.
saturday morning laundry was interrupted when the washing machine wouldnt wash.. called the big chain store S***s to set an appointment. quickest they could get here was 7 days from now with a big service fee. so, i looked for someone local and found Vics: called him at 11 a.m. on a saturday, he had 2 clients ahead of me but said he could be there at 1p.m.... actually he was here at 12:55 - 5 minutes early. there was no 4 hour window of time, he just did everything he said he would do.. my washer was fixed in 25 minutes.. great job, very quick, professional and highly recommended...
I replaced the washer and dryer that came with my home purchase from Price Buster. Three years into weekly use of both, my dryer stopped working and called the location to see if it was best to repair or replace the dryer. The owner was very knowledgeable and understanding of my issue and sent his worker out to repair it the same day. They replaced the coil in my dryer for FREE and said it may last for 6 months and offered to discount any future purchase of a dryer in the future when needed. Happy to say that my dryer is still working going on 2 years now!! :-)))
