Great place with nice teachers. They are always doing great activities with the kids. My two boys are always happy to go to school

I placed my son on the waiting based on his grandma's wishes, however from the beginning I was very apprehensive due to the directors lack of professionalism and tact/charisma. I have found another provider that is equally qualified while I waited on a waiting list with no given estimate, after waiting for various months I get a call told that I need to make a decision within 24 hours out of the blue and that if I don't my son will get placed at the bottom of the list. My son was number seven and I guess number one through six decided to decline. Every time i asked about the process i was harshly reminded there was no guarantee, mind you i had to call and no one followed up until recently when i was pressured and given an ultimatum. I remember when i showed in person the second time the greet was tasteless and was told there is a waitlist first thing. Communication was minimal and unorganized. I had paid $100 to be on the waiting list and this would not go towards the registration fee which is another hundred now I understand that, however I would appreciate more customer service and understanding at the very least. I felt a sense of arrogance from the beginning, i called to express my concerns and decline the offer and then i was given "more time" to decide but i really wish it would not have come to a complaint. It was an attempt to solve the issue but what about proactive rapport? This demonstrated lack of leadership and it did not align with my values. I hope they can increase interpersonal skills in the "best daycare of the year".
My daughter has been going here since she was 1, and I'd never even consider taking her anywhere else!Aunt Delores' gives your child the special, individual attention they deserve. They are very vigilant over the children's safety and development, as well as interested in cultivating relationships with the parents of the children they care for.I have never had any doubt as to how well they are teaching my child; even with her stubborn attitude and somewhat slow development, Aunt Delores' has always provided her with the special attention she needs to succeed. It will be a very fond farewell this Fall when she's off to Kindergarten! If you're looking for a child care center with great values, small class sizes, an excellent VPK program, and talented staff who really care about your children, this is it!
My child attended this school for a year. I was so glad to get her out of there. They DO NOT have a set learning schedule for the children. There are 5 classrooms there; when I withdrew my daughter only ONE of the original teachers remained. My daughter personally went through 3/4 teachers in the same class. They either wrongfully terminate teachers or the teachers leave because of ill treatment. When my daughter first started they said the canopy over the playground had been destroyed by a recent hurricane; a year later there was still no canopy over the playground and the children were outside daily in 95 degree heat index. My daughter would come home with ripped clothes and was even forced to pee her pants one day because there weren't enough teachers there for one to accompany her to the bathroom. Since moving my daughter she has learned so much, something I notice did not happen at GLC. The most they would do was color all day; they didn't even have a set schedule for the children to learn something as basic as the alphabet..
Very disappointed with their expertise. The experience is not as they promised on the orientation tour.
Terrible experience everything that the lady on the bottom said they try to act strict although they treat kids like dogs.
My son has been going to GLC for a little over a year now and I couldn't be more happier with my decision. The teachers here are awesome and have helped me and my son in so many ways. They have a set schedule for the kids and a good curriculum as well as a balanced discipline structure. Having a child in day care can be hard for some parents as well as the child; but at GLC they open their arms to everyone and love these children as their own. I recommend this daycare to anyone in the area because it was the best one I've can across!!!
I'm so surprised to hear a negative comment. It is just the opposite of how I feel. My child has attended this school for over a year. The management is so caring, and understands are unique needs. We are from Brazil, and they have taught my child so much! All of the staff have made us feel welcome, and has made our child feel comfortable, which was a complete transformation when we first arrived here.
Beware of this childcare. Anything but genuinely loving. Starting from the teachers, director and all the way to the owners. There is no passion whatsoever for the children receiving care. There's absolutely no emphathy. Children do not have a good academic schedule and teachers are constantly leaving.
DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT PUT YOUR KID IN THIS DAYCARE ! My child was in this daycare for 2 yrs for convenience but meanwhile I've had soo many issues with the care and concerns of my child . Teachers are NOT allowed to talk to you for too long , any concerns are swept under the rug , Maria (director) is very condescending , very nice nasty , some teachers are miserable because they treat them like slaves , some are nice don't get me wrong but are treated poorly and that affects the work ethic ,they don't help two yr old wipe when they are learning to use the potty so be prepared to have a kid with a rash, or dirty underwears , they NEVER know how you kids day went because the teacher doesn't report to anyone about anything only when the child acts out , if you complain more than once be prepared to slowly get thrown out , to further explain they will provoke your child and then blame it on them , I've had a teacher say she rather walk dogs than do this , my child has had a gash in her head and NOONE could tell me what happened and no report was made ,my daughter was at a stage where she would tell me what was going on so I'd hear the teacher curse , throw her food away when she wasn't done and eat her lollipop she was given in front of her. THEY ARE PETTY !!!!! so I warn you to be careful I will report them to DCF and any other accreditation they shouldn't be open , any questions i will gladly respond
