Vitiligo is a skin condition resulting from loss of pigment which produces white patches. Any part of the body may be affected. Usually both sides of the body are affected. Cassie Basak is a board certified Physician Assistant who graduated from Dominican University in River Forest, IL with a Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Biomedical Engineering at The University of Iowa. As a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, she is working to complete the SDPA Diplomat Fellowship. Cassie joined Fine Skin in February, 2019.
