At first, Forrest Motors was great. They fixed little maintenance things that we wanted on the inside of the van we purchased. The trouble started about a week after we bought the van (4 days after their 3 day return rule). When we filled the gas tank up, it wouldn't take gas. The hose would click off indicating a full tank after just a couple of gallons. The check engine light came on and it was a transmission code. We did a fluid exchange and had a mechanic clean around the transmission and that seemed to take care of that problem. Then the check engine light came on again. This time it was a catalytic converter code. We took it in and we were told that it needs a new one which is $1000. All those things happened within the first month of having the van. Then the DVD player started having issues reading a disc but won't eject it either. Next, we took the van to get new brake pads because the van had been shaking when we would brake. They told us that the front brake pads, rotors and calipers needed to be replaced. A few months later the engine started overheating and the a/c was blowing hot. So we took the van in again and it needed a new radiator. We've spent $2300 on repairs. At the time we purchased the van we didn't buy a warranty. I don't regret that decision as much as I regret buying the van from Forrest Motors in the first place.
Gus D. Is a liar his cars are not reliable they will break down on you the same week you buy it. THE CHECK ENGINE TURNED ON 30 MILES OUT THE DEALERSHIP! THEY WILL SCAM YOU
They lied when they said they would fix parts of my car (they said the fix the motor mounts only fixed one..itook it to Nissan to get it checked it and that's when I went back and called them out) they ended up putting the other 3 in and gave me the car back and the car broke down that same day.. THEY WILL SCAM YOU STAY AWAY FROM THERE.. THE CODES HAVE BEEN CLEARED AND CHECK ENGINE WILL TURN IN ON YOUR WAT HONE FROM THE DEALERSHIP
good reliable cars. they check their cars. mechanic on site. warranty available. best price guarantee.
Estuve buscando un auto no muy caro que estuviera en buenas condiciones. Carlos y Felipe me ayudaron a encontrar uno que pudiera pagar. Buena atencion, y me ayudaron a conseguir un auto.
My salesman was great. He had a great sense of humor and really made my car buying experience fun.
I'd give zero stars if I could! They are lying cheating typically bad "used car salesmen" type! Everything is way high priced! Seen an SUV that was 5 yrs old for $1000 less than a BRAND NEW EXACT MODEL! Don't waste ur time
I purchased a Toyota 4Runner from Jeremiah Seely about it a year ago. I was from out of state, but knew the area so I had a local mechanic perform a used car inspection on the vehicle (Franks Lakeside, feel free to look for my reviews of his company as well). It passed the inspection with some note of rust. Ok, it had a clean car fax and some rust wasn't unreasonable for a 10 year old car. So I pulled the trigger. My brother in law then drove it the 800+ miles to the northwest. A few days after i get it the car goes into "limp mode". Had to replace the throttle pedal. When I called Jeremiah this time, he gave a couple ideas but offered no help. Ok, so I fixed this issue with a new throttle pedal (one of the sensors was buggy), $200. Great, my otherwise great looking 4Runner was finally ready to be used. I start hearing some clicking, I take it to my mechanic and he says the exhaust manifold will need to be replaced in a couple years. Ok, I can kind of deal with that. But that's not all he says, the undercarriage is COVERED in rust. He says not just covered, but looks like it's been sitting in a lake. I get under and look and it is so bad it looks like parts were riddled with machine gun bullets. Pieces, chunks, were coming off just from touching. Turns out the brace/bracket for the rear differential was completely eaten through. The wheel bearings were eaten away. Pieces of the carriage were missing. I had two seperate mechanic shops deem the vehicle unsafe to drive after inspecting it. One even said it was the worst rust he'd ever seen on a vehicle, and said it had to be at least partially submerged for some time. This all happened a few months after I purchased the vehicle. So I called Jeremiah. His response, and this is a quote, "it's your problem, not mine", "sorry, but if you were too dumb to not get a used car inspection done, then that's your problem." I was blown away. I couldn't believe he would treat a customer that way. He didn't care at all. And now the only recourse I have is to leave him reviews in hope that future customers will be better informed. He seemed like a nice guy when I initiated buisness with him, but after he was done with me, I was nothing.
Bought a Nissan Versa from these guys last week and we really like the car so far! No surprises yet. Nice guys that weren't pushy.
