The shrimp and fries were great!!!! However the catfish was not cooked all the way! I called and the lady tried to argue with me that she dropped some catfish at the same time for someone in the lobby and they didn’t have a problem with the fish. If I didn’t live on the Southside I would’ve driven back and showed her. I explained to her again that my fish was not done! This was my first time eating here and I asked her if the fish is fresh and freshly cooked and she said yes. I could tell once I removed the batter, on the tips of the fish it was old! I catch fish and have worked in seafood all my younger days and I know Old fish when I see. That’s $11 I can’t get back. I have uploaded pics of the fish once I removed the batter... I believe I’d eat here again I just wouldn’t get fish!
Perhaps they have taken the feedback into consideration. This place was excellent in customer service when we went. The man even gave us a free slice of chocolate cake after we told him the food was great. We were surprised that the food was so good, it's not normally a place I'd go to, but so glad I did!
The food is pretty good here service is AWFUL! Honestly I don't care how good the food is I will never spend my hard earned money on a business that has poor service. Drove about 15 mins to this place at 9pm. They don't close till 3 am on sat. The door was locked and a man came to the door and told me to go to the drive thru. I walked back to my car to go to drive thru only for him to get on the intercom and tell me "I'm not taking any more orders sorry" ????? I will never spend another dime here until they learn the importance of service and how to run a business
This Plant Life Cafe is inside LA Fitness and I've watched as the artist painted a beautiful tree on the wall next to the cafe and the hard work that went into it. As i work out and tries to go twice a day, I've seen people curious about the cafe and I can see the painted tree intrigued them When the cafe was ready and finished, I watched as people ordered, sat at the chairs, even employees would buy their drinks there often. I saw how people loved getting their picture taken with the background of the tree behind them. It was beautiful and lovely to see as I walked into the gym everyday. But then I noticed the painting of the tree being painted over by white plain paint. The tree was gone, vanished, line it never existed!! It was disappointing.then I noticed.... Less people buying from there, no more lines, no one sitting down at the tables. I used to Enjoy buying my drinks there sitting with friends at the table taking pictures and having the glorious tree in the background.
Food is good but very very RUDE employees and the do not honor the daily speicals i sat in drive thur about. 5 minutes so i drive up and say to the guy your intercom is not working, He say to me yes it is i'm hear alone so i'm not worried about the drive thur
SO BAD. Unbelievably awful food and a rude guy at the cash register. Chicken was severely over cooked, fish was mushy and full of bones, and the fries were soggy. Beware - they have a strict no-refunds policy. Too bad the food isn't edible because the menu looked great.
This place is great and you will get plenty of food for a reasonable price. Lots of items on the menu. I used to go to the one in Arlington whenever i was in that area. So glad they opened one here in op right down the street from me.
If I could give it less than one star I would. Ordered the side plate of appetizers and everything was greasy, extremely salty and burnt. Also ordered fish and shrimp plates. Fries are disgustingly soggy and greasy. The fish and shrimp wasn't as bad as everything else. The pictures on the menu show food just as it comes out, very dark and nasty! You don't get tartar unless you ask for it and if you ask for extra, they charge 50 cents. No marinara for the cheese sticks, no ranch for the fried okra. Not that they were edible anyway.
We've never had better service, food, or a better experience, than our tenth anniversary at the Hill Top. Management, staff, the musician, and total ambiance of the place will forever be the best. We will be lifetime customers.
Great deals all the time and the food is always hot and fresh!!
