Never rent from this company they should be put out of buisness, if I could give them negative stars I would. Terrible company ran by terrible people that does not care about their tenants. All they care about is money so dont expect your security deposit back even if you do spend money and hours on cleaning the place, they will still say they paid a bogus amount to do whatever.
First off, if I could give 0 stars I would. This company is the WORST property management company that I have ever had the displeasure of working with. On the day of move in she told us that she would send us the lock box code by a certain time. Diane did not send us the code until 3 hours after the time she had specified. We tried contacting the office, her phone, and her assistant Rachelle. No one would answer or respond. We have jobs and lives and this was completely disrespectful of our time. When we finally got the keys we noticed that there were no mailbox keys. We contacted her to receive them and she claimed mailbox keys were "non-essential items" so she didn't have to provide them to us. Apparently receiving your mail over a years time at your residence is non-essential. On top of all this we were told that the home would be cleaned before move in and upon entering the residence it was clear that that was not done. When I received notice that my job was transferring me we gave her 45 days notice of the break of lease and she reacted completely unprofessionally. She started making up fees that weren't in the lease that we had to pay and when I asked for documentation for my work, since it wasn't stated in the lease, she said "It's not stated because tenants aren't supposed to be breaking the lease! If you don't want to pay the fee then you can pay out the rest of the lease!" She took out over $300 out of our security deposit. We left that place spotless and she never sent us receipts for these "fees" so who knows where that money went. We were good tenants who were never late on rent and never caused any issues. The way she treated us was unacceptable. I don't usually like posting bad reviews but I would hate for other decent people to go through what we went through with Diane.
If I could give 0 stars I would. The woman at the main office is nothing but rude on the phone the two times I spoke with her. I have been trying to look at a rental property the past 12 hours which was agreed upon by a realtor named Dave when then shut off his phone during the times in which I was supposed to meet with him. When I called the office the lady told me it rented with out even hearing what the address was.... the day prior when I asked if I could see it they had no idea about the property ( You listed it didn't you?????) then all the sudden she knew which one it was and told me I couldn't see it because someone "was first in line and it wouldn't sit right in her heart if I saw it first" called me back literally a second later "Oh he backed out". Not sure what this company gets out of being shady, sketchy, and rude. Save your souls and family heart ache and rent else where. Filing a complaint with DBPR and board of NEFAR.
Never trust these people. Never contract yourself into a lease with these people. They have NO idea what they are doing. They have NO professionalism what so ever. Diane B. Simmons, the "owner" is rude, mean, and down right spiteful. Rachelle, does not dress professionally what so ever when showing a house. Rachelle will seem like a nice person at first, as will Diane, but after the lease signing, if you have the SLIGHTEST thing go wrong, and it is NOT you're fault... Well, they will turn it around and make it sound like YOU did something wrong. Then it gets worse from there, so much worse. Save yourself. Do not ever consider these rude, inconsiderate, unprofessional people with your housing needs.
I paying my rent on time but when my lease end they doesn't like to give me back my safety deposit---- so greedy especially Joyce Freemam.
If you are renting looking to rent a home DO NOT use Apex Realty Services! They do not fix problems, they have no customer service AT ALL. They tell you to go buy something and they will pay you back but they do not. They do not respond to emails, calls or through their portal. Worst company I have ever worked with in my life. They require everything of you but give you absolutely nothing in return other than a home that is falling apart that they wont repair when it needs it. They didnt even paint or clean the house prior to starting our lease and the pool in the backyard that was what we paid extra for was green with tadpoles and required months of cleaning and money invested on our end to get it usable. Horrible awful experience.
Renter beware, she keep my $1000 security deposit. Because of the painting issue. I just find out that painting is considered normal wear and tear. I just felt like she over charge me for something I shouldn't. I even hired professional cleaner to help me clean the house plus lawn service and carpet cleaning company. Just to make sure that I leave the house in good shape and spent over $400 and now she charged me $1000 because of the painting issue of the wall. It's a ripoff!
Terrible Rental Company. I rented from them for three years and paid every month on time. The owners of the house did an inspection and were very happy with the way the house was kept. We decided not to renew our lease this year, they got angry about it, and decided to keep our deposit. I followed every instruction on the rental agreement, and they still kept it out of spite. Now I have to take them to court. Don't bother with these people. Very, very unprofessional.
If you are looking to rent a home this is the place to go. The property manager is very friendly and professional. This is a family owned business so you can trust them with where you decide to have your family lay their head each night. All of the properties are reasonably priced. Definitely worth checking out.
