Dr. Pierre seemed to be "put out" by asking questions. She seemed to want to move on to her next patient. This is not uncommon for doctors, yet it is uncommon for ones that I choose to associate with!
I was given an appointment and arrived at 0800 as told. The person at reception was nothing but antagonistic from the moment she looked at my insurance card.......she said she had never heard of the company. I told her that the Dr. that I had an appointment was listed as a member of the PHCS Network and she said she didn't like that network, they were always a problem. I asked her why her Doctors signed contracts with a network that was not liked and she said that it was a corporate decision. It went on and on till a nice office lady came up and rescued me and said I should go home and they would call me back to reschedule after they confirmed my insurance. Later that week I went to the next Doctor on the PHCS Network list....paid my $30.00 copay and that was that. That was over two months ago and I have still not heard back from Family Practice Associates. They should get rid of their receptionist and hire someone that relates to people.
I have been seeing Dr. Garcia for years. Yes, he is quick. Since I have very little time, I happen to like that. Contrary to what others have posted, he has never been one to "push pills"... he has always tried an anti-inflammatory first, and only gave pain pills if that didn't work. Even with a broken ankle! I learned from friends, people either love him or hate him....no in between. I love him, been going to him 20+ years.
I would even gave this office a half of a star but had to rate to ad this reveiw.I took Mt nice in hopes of finding a primary dr. for here post op needs. This was not the place to go the Dr did not even as questions about medical reason for being there he didn't exam her just ask what pain meds he could get her with out know what she was taking and no blood work was done. What the hell is the world coming to. We need dr not pill pushers!!!! My vet cares more about my dogs that dr Garcia did with my niece should have call him. Will never take he there again. And will report to AMA !!!!!!!!!
Dr. Garcia is there to collect that co-pay and that's it. his nurse does it all, and he does nothing but sigh refills... they even ask "are you here for a refill" or an appointment.... he does not do the bloodwork he needs to before refilling.. and he has his DOG in the office.. what happens when someone with allergies comes in.. do yourself a favor.. drive by.. don't stop.. you are better off somewhere else.
Worst unprofessional experience ever! Misdiagnosed friend who could have died from their awful lack of professionalism and malpractice! Doctor refused to do required tests told friend they did not have condition without tests and tried to push patient over to say they are fine!!! How are they still in practice??? Hopefully not for long!
The doctor walked into room was in there 30 seconds I showed him the rash on my arm. He turned away an said you need a cream. I explained to him I have had this for a couple of months not sure if a cream is enough. He acted like he didn't have the time an didn't care. The nurse even told me she agreed that I needed a steroid. To call back on Monday if I didn't see a change. No change I called back today an his reply is come back in an ill give you a shot. But he wanted me to pay for another office visit. I want a doctor that cares an actually takes the time to listen Doctor Garcia is not one of those doctors. The one star I do give is the nurses they told me they deal with this all the time.
NO COMMENT JUST CHECK MEDICARE COMPARISON SCORES !!!
