I'm still on hold for the second time, first time was nine minutes. As I wait, let me tell you, read these reviews first because had I , I would have NEVER gone there. ( I am still on hold ). This place is awful !!! I picked up my glasses last week and can't read with close up section of my glasses. I have tri glasses. When I picked them up I was having trouble right off the bat and told Ruthie so. She even wrote it on my order slip. Told me to try them for a week and if still no good, make appt. to be re-examined. ( I am still on hold ). So today I call and what a run around I am experienceing. First they wouldn't give me an appt., then said just come in at random and they will fix them. Well I need to see the dr. Not some one out front. The girl on the phone was polite to the point of condescending. It's now 11 minutes and I am still on hold.I will have to go there and try and get my glasses seen. By the DOCTOR. DO NOT GO HERE ,!

This is the most unorganized place you can ever go to! The staff for the most part is great - the management should be fired! Went there for a regular eye exam for glasses with an appointment and it took over 4 hours. That is ridiculous. Even when it came time to pay, that took about half an hour. The glasses came in and sure enough they were wrong. Wrong frames and the wrong prescription. Will never go back here again. Save yourself a day and go somewhere else!
If I can save just one person the headache this is worth it, Run as fast as you can away from this place and go to a real eye doctor and do not use these idiots for anything. I have been there 8 times to get my glasses (simple plain lined bifocals) and they cannot get them right as the "manager" Sharon stands with her hands on her hips glaring at me,won't refund my money One lens is visibly thicker than the other and the "tech" took the glasses and bent them together as if that is going to change the fact that the prescription is still wrong.I get humiliated if I go back for the 9th time. I snatched them off the counter and stomped out the last time because I was losing my temper. I will go back to fight as I will not let these idiots win this battle. I will stay there until I get my refund or they make it right. It has become a matter of principal. One of the idiots told me to " wear them for a couple of days, you'll get used to them" Never in 45 years of glasses have I been told this

This place is TERRIBLE! I read the reviews before going and should have listened.. I called and made an appointment for my son. The soonest they could get him in was a month out. They look all of his information INCLUDING his date of birth. I then called the day before to confirm, because they did not, and they asked for his DOB again. We got to his appointment this morning, and were turned away at the door because he was too young. I fought with the woman at the counter saying they asked me for his date of birth not once, but TWICE! She said they just assumed 2012 was an error by the receptionist. Instead of calling me before I drove a half hour to his appointment, they let me show up and look ridiculous. They then proceeded to write me a referral to a doctor in ORLANDO which is over an hour from my home. When I called Orlando to make the appointment for him, they told me their referral was not valid. Please believe me 100% when I say do NOT go here. They are AWFUL!!
This place is horrible and is taking advantage of people!!! The staff is rude and incompetent. I went to have an annual eye exam and to get glasses and contacts. The doctor rushed me in and rushed me out and when he would ask me a question he wouldn't even allow me to finish before cutting me off. I tried to tell them I have sensitive eyes for contacts so I would need a certain brand but for some reason they would NOT give me the brand I wanted and made me "trail run" an off, cheap, bottom of the barrel brand which of course didn't work for me. When I went back to get the brand I wanted they asked for more money so I figured ok I'll get my contacts else where and just get my glasses with them, well that was a joke too!! After being told it would take 14 business days for my glasses to come in I called at day 14 then day 18 and now it is OVER 30 days and still no glasses!! When I call no one can answer where my glasses are and when I asked for a refund I was told I would have to dispute the charge with my bank!! Horrible all the way around don't waste your time or your money here!
After an hour wait and redundant pages of questions, I was asked when I last saw my primary care DR, then if I had tested my glucose level that day, then they wanted to know the results of that test. I was there to have my prescription tested for new glasses and yearly glaucoma test. NEVER have I had an Optometrist question me about health issues not in their expertise. This was done no doubt to use as an excuse for further unnecessary tests. One, I rejected when filling out the forms. In my opinion they are crooks, I left after refusing to answer.

First the good. Great doctors, I haven't had an issue with any of them, they are very thorough and I feel very confident in their abilities. The prices are really good, that is another reason I visit their Orange City location. The bad: The customer service is atrocious, the initial people greeting you at the door are a bit timid but once you meet the lady in charge, you quickly understand why. I always feel roughed up during my visits to this location (thank God it is only once a year) - the overall feeling is how the DMV used to be (pick a number, wait, and someone will yell for you). The manner I am spoken to at the Orange City location is border-line disrespectful and more fit for after hours at a club or in the street. I am overdue for my visit this year (I have insurance), but am hesitant to go through another visit at this location. Overall, if you need to or want to save money, are looking for exceptional Optometrists and can handle the rude street talk customer service this might be the place for you.
~Eye Savers Orange City FL~ Absolutely Horrible! We went only to purchase glasses for my daughter, not to see the Dr. The appearance when you first walk in is minimalistic to say the least -they obviously don't care what their customers think or if they feel comfortable. The customer service was the worst I've ever experienced. I get more eye contact and verbal interaction when I bring my dogs to the groomer. There was no discussion: the employee had my daughter sit, measured her, said payment amount, sign this, walked away. I received a call when the glasses were ready which sounded like an automated recording (though it was not) -again no verbal interaction. We went to pick the glasses up and not only did they not fit, but the lens on the side needing a stronger script was ridiculously thick and magnified my child's eyeball. There is absolutely no way she could wear them. I can't even imagine the ridicule she would endure going to school with one average sized eyeball and one magnified eyeball! This is what she looked like: 'o~O' . I refused to accept the glasses and asked about their refund policy. The employee asked if I paid for them "out-of-pocket", then asked if I paid by credit card. Why, because credit cards provide some consumer protection? When I said yes I paid by credit card, she said "well we can't do refunds, but my manager can call you on Monday". Today is Saturday, so we'll see what happens Monday. This company is absolutely horrible and I would strongly caution anyone against going there!
