I had double cataract surgery in October/November of 2016. I had so many bad experiences with this business...I'll just try to explain some. First, I came in on a referral from my primary care physician, to see if I needed cataract surgery. Dr. Cerevolo never told me whether or not surgery was indicated, just some minor BS about what would be done. Then, I was given an appointment with the girls from North Columbus Eye Center for the preliminary testing. These girls did not know how to work the machines! End result, after doing all the preliminary tests, I was called back in to re-do all the tests (my initial results were lost)! Then comes the surgeries! First, my right eye; rather uneventful. After a few days, I could see through that eye. Then, my left eye. To begin with, I am very afraid if anyone touches my eye, I made that clear to the anesthesiologist and he said "you'll get the same meds we used when we did the right eye" WRONG! I went into the procedure with eye drops to numb the eye, but NO MEDICATIONS to make me forget the whole thing! As a result, I was awake for the entire procedure! The speculum he used was torqued down around the eyeball AND IT HURT! I felt it when he was using the ultrasound probe, inside my eyeball, to remove the lens sack! In fact, I remember Dr Ceravolo cautioning me for moving out of his microscope field of vision. At this time, the Anesthesiologist said "I just gave him more " again WRONG! My second set of glasses were so bad, I gave them back in March of 2017 and requested a refund. It is now September and I still have no refund. I have never had a worse experience in my life (and I'm 65) RUN, DONT WALK AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!
