Rod's Roadside Service

I locked my keys in my car and immediately called insurance to get locksmith. Got several messages saying they were still working on getting someone to unlock car. After an hour of waiting, I started calling locksmiths myself. I called EVERY ONE in the Opelika hour. All were either closed, wouldn't answer, or didnt service the area. Which I though was unusual since I was in a pretty busy, main spot in Opelika (Captain D's on Cols Parkway) at 7pm. Anyway, the last number I called was Rod's and he text back and said he'd be there in 15 min. He got there and had my car unlocked in under 3 minutes! Highly recommend this place! Very professional and polite. Thanks again, ya'll saved my night.

Sorry to be the one person to give a negative review. After all, I chose Rod's Roadside Service at random simply by reading all of the positive reviews he had. I had replaced the starter in my car and in the process, due to disconnecting the battery, I guess you could say it "de-programmed" my key (I'm referring to the chip in the key that is programmed to the car) and the ignition was locked up. I called Rod's on a Saturday. He said he was pretty sure he could re-program it (and for a very reasonable fee, I might say) but he said the soonest he could get to it was the next day (Sunday) at around 1:00 pm. He was going to call me around 12:30. I called him at 12:45 and he told me he had gotten a call to change someones tires (emergency on the side of the interstate) and he was in Georgia. He said he was wrapping up and packing his tools as we were speaking and he would be calling me in about an hour when he got near our previously discussed meeting place. An hour and a half passed and no call from him. I called him...answering machine...I left a message. No return call. Another hour or more passed...I called again...answering machine...I left another message. No return call. I gave up. That was almost three weeks ago and I would have thought I might at least get a call eventually with an explanation and/or apology. But, nothing. Not good business to not stand by your word or at least make a simple phone call with an explanation.

I had a starter go out on my vehicle. I had gotten a few quotes that would have been much more expensive plus I would have had to pay a wrecker to tow it to whatever shop I chose. Thankfully a family member found out about Rod’s Roadside service. Not only was he very affordable, he did EXCELLENT work! And He did the work at my house. I will definitely call him next time I have car trouble!!

Needed a tire change, he was quick and right on time and had a reasonable price, if I need another tire change, I would difintely call rods roadside assistance

It was awesome he was very professional and on time got the job done quickly. More companies should have a contract with him.
